This place is great! We were sad to see Jalapa's in Millis close and were looking for a new Mexican restaurant, and Jalapeno's is fantastic! Great food, sizeable portions, friendly staff, and a funky interior with plenty of seating.

I do not know how this place has such high ratings. I hate to leave such a negative review but it was really not good. Menu felt extremely overpriced for what was served, and then everything on the bill was $1-2 more than what the menu said. The drinks were so sweet, the food was just bad and it seemed like we were a burden to our server. We will absolutely not be back. I wouldn’t waste your time.

Nice family friendly place. This was my first time visiting Jalapeños from a neighboring town and I was excited for their menu. When we arrived we were greeted quickly and given a table in a corner. The assigned server to the section was busy so a warm gentleman took our order and took care of us the entire time. I had the Carne Asada Tempequeña and my husband had the Al Pastpr Tacos and a watermelon mojito. Everything from the salsa and chips to dessert (fried plantains) were tasty and cooked well. Our server even gave us some salsa to take home, which was very generous. 10/10!

The food was ok, the burrito was good, and the chicken. Quesadillas was good, but the chicken on the Fajitas was a little dry. The margaritas were pretty good, great selection. The chirros were good as well. Our server did a good job, although it looks like he was new since we had to remind him of some of our options. Overall, it is a good spot if you are in the area. There is plenty of parking on the back. Disclaimer: We decided to eat outside at night, so we had a little visitor around our table. We told the server, and he said that they have tried to catch it but have been unsuccessful. I'm not sure if he was joking, but he should have recommended moving us once we mwntion the little visitor.

Not good. I ordered tilapia tacos and it BAD. No seasoning at all, the fish seemed as if it was defrosted in the microwave and it got that rubber texture, then just grilled for some color but NO seasoning AT ALL. What you see in the photo is a sauce I put on top that also tasted like nothing. The rice tasted like frozen microwaved rice and the side was supposed to be beans but they gave me this spinach and mushroom side. I only ate the rice.
Unfortunately I don’t have one good thing to say and it’s annoying to spend$45+ tip in bad food.

Pretty average food. We were excited to try it as several people mentioned it to us and it was just OK. We ordered two different chicken dishes and the only difference was the sauce they put on it. I was just a bland simple chicken breast very thinly sliced. And nachos were just not good at all. Tasted like something I used to make in college.
Probably won't be back again.
The only good thing is that our takeout order was ready in 20 min

Originally the fresh salsa and chips were the attraction, consistently delicious and would gladly have paid. But they give it free, so that alone is unusually good. Then I tried the coconut margarita, now I have two reasons that make this place my favorite mexican restaurant. Toasted coconut rimmed deliciousness, if you go here just order one to try it. You don't have to order chips and salsa😎
Try the steak tacos, those are good. But order chilies rellenos... what a waste.. no flavor at all, soggy and bland... description said cheese and beef but no cheese at all. Tacos al pastor were dry, no sauce... mojitos are good.
Good Mexican food restaurant in Walpole. We had Green Tamales Salsa Verde and Puerco En Salsa Verde. They were okay but not up to the spicy level I love. When I went there the first time the food was awesome. I couldn't remember the name of the dish I ordered back then. The place is a well known among the locals.
