This was our first time, and we were excited for some great food, and that was all we expected. The staff was kind, and there is no complaint there, but everything else was a letdown. Bathrooms were dirty, we sat next to what used to be the salad bar, and it was full of stacked towels and crumpled papers, and the restaurant itself is not very well-kept. While this may seem minor, if this is what is presented to the guests, it makes you wonder what it looks like in the back. None of this would have bothered me much if the food wasn't so expensive and subpar. We used a gift card that we thought had $50 on it, but it ended up being $100. We ate here for a wedding luncheon with my niece. The atmosphere was great and the food was awesome! I had the prime rib french dip and I was not disappointed. The restaurant was clean and service was fast for having such a big party. I would not hesitate to stop back here for another meal next time we are in the Pocatello area. Appetisers and main course was good. Appteizers were very tasty. Main course came soggy from spilled aujus sauce, but was still good. Main issue was that we came during happy hour but were seated in the dining area to avoid bar noise. Only to find out when ordering that we needed to be in the bar to get any of the discounts. We were not informed upon entering of this restriction. As such our apps were full price, and we did not oder any drinks. Make sure to sit in the right area if you are looking for happy hour 👎 Plus side, server was great. Had an amazing experience at Jakers! The food was on point from the appetizer to the entree and the desert! Everything and everyone executed to perfection. Our waiter was amazing! Honestly made the visit easy and effortless! Can’t remember his name (Had a deep voice and long hair) but this gentleman was damn good! Thank you Jakers and staff!
