I work near by and we finally popped in well after a barstool pizza review. We ordered the 12" classic cheese between my girlfriend and I. It's super crushable, should've gotten the 16". The crust is crispy-crackery, but still a bit doughy under the sauce and cheese. Good chew. Not heavy on the cheese at all, flavorful sauce. We followed up with the RI Calamari because we were still hungry. It was fried crispy and tossed in a white wine butter sauce. It was tender and delicious. Our server was affable. Service is fast, pizza came out like ⚡️ ⚡️ ⚡️. We also were the only patrons at first at 1pm on Christmas eve eve. Overall wouldn't miss if you're considering it. I have the pizza at jacks regularly and it is excellent. In fact, my family likes it so much we will make the 20 minute trip for take out. Best pizza in the Boston metro area for my money. Jack's brings the taste I have been looking for. I haven't had as good of pizza in years. My favorite was/is Regina's 9.6 in the north end. Jack's to me is a great tasting pizza 9.4 delicious. Looking at the pizza when we picked it up we couldn't wait to take pictures. If your in the area stop in. If your not go there its worth the drive. Third time I have order here for pizza. I consider myself a pizza connoisseur and I give this place a solid 8.5. Highly recommend. Jack's is the best version of coal fired pizza you can get in the greater Boston area. This place has gotten a lot busier since Dave Portnoy's review and for good reason. We had Jack's Original cheese but asked for it without Romano cheese, and they were happy to oblige. The dough is crispy, charred but not completely burnt, great flavor, and has some chew. The sauce is not overly sweet, and the cheese has enough salt to balance everything out. The ratios of the ingredients were just about perfect. I'm sure the other pizza toppings are just as good, but we only got cheese since it is a Halal option. Highly recommend getting the pizza. But the item that completely floored me was the Banoffee Pie. It is incredible. The custard consistency was perfect, the graham cracker crust had great texture, and the toffee gave it some crunch and sweetness but did not overpower the other flavors. I would come here again just for this dessert. The service was top-notch. Our server was more than happy to answer our questions regarding ingredients in the dessert and even asked the chef when he wasn't sure. For such great food prices were very affordable. Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon, place was not busy. Was greeted and seated quickly. Server was friendly and looked after us well. I got the pasta and meatballs and my wife got a pizza so we could have left overs. Food arrived hot and the portions were very good. Overall however it was a *MEH*.. middle of the road OK. Prices are what you would expect in Burlington but to us this was barley above (insert your town's House of Pizza) here. The facility seems to be a converted steak house? or possibly a Bertucci's? Does not look like they spent much to convert it to their branding. Interior design is classic 1990's . Wife had to report to the server that the Ladies Room was an absolute bio hazard, and unusable in the current state. Based on the number of people in here and it was early in the day it clearly must have been from the previous day/night... Not good. In another stroke of weirdness there are two large stone Buddha's to greet you to the patio area for this Italian place, wait what? Again clearly did not want to spend any money to remove them from one of this facilities previous incarnations. (see what I did there) . To avoid the usual comments on a bad review of "did you complain at the time" ? The answer is NO. Other than the cleaning issue which we did point out, nothing was "wrong" with the food it was just not good. What’s up for Dinner

I got this right over Dave Portnoy …..Why didn’t I discover this place earlier? This place has a great vibe, loved the atmosphere inside, the bright red chairs / sofa booths and the bright lights/ neon signs. The customer service is on the slower side ( longer time to greet and take your order), however I will overlook this aspect because the server allowed up to customize our order … tending to our needs and thus excelled…. We ordered : Coal fired wings ( half of them buffalo and half of them lemon herbed). Tomato soup with garlic bread. Large 16 inch pizza half of it was vegetarian and half was carnivore. Vegetarian came with - tomato 🍅 , zucchini, cauliflower, caramelized onions 🧅 , red pepper 🫑 , mushrooms and olives 🫒 The carnivore came with.. Tomato 🍅 , mozzarella, bacon 🥓 , sausage and pepperoni 🍕 In desserts we had the warm brownie sundae. Rating - Service - 4/5 Food quality and taste - 5/5 ( wings and pizza was amazing and so was the sundae) Prices - 5/5 reasonable prices Vibe / interior - 4/5 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

This was my first coal fired pizza, and I enjoyed scarfing it down! The place is very clean, the tables were spaced appropriately for social distancing, and the servers wore masks. Our server was excellent overall. She was very attentive and friendly. The pizza was amazing. The pineapple mule cocktail was decent, but it was a bit more ginger than pineapple. I really want to try the banana dessert next time. Overall I am very glad to have visited Jack's Coal Fired Pizza. Update: came back through the area more than a year later and the pizza and service is as great as ever!
