Went there on Wednesday night around 7 pm it was packed! My wife had the Hipster burrito and I had the Perch dinner. It was fantastic! Our waitress Tabby made the evening even better! We are new to town and she made us feel welcome. We will definitely be back. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Perch Dinner

Great customer service they were all very attentive and very cheery while we were there. Unfortunately the food was not that good and a bit overpriced. This spot is probably great for an after work beer but not some please I will stop again for lunch. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
This was our first visit to JW's, and we were happily surprised by the good food and great service! Our waitress was very attentive and helpful! We had 8 people in our party, as we were celebrating my son's 13th birthday. The food was really good with large portions, and we had no issues with our food or service. We were in for dinner tonight and it was pretty busy. I wanted to give a shoutout to our server, Rhys. He did an amazing job, was kind, and made sure we had everything we needed. As a former server, I could tell he was giving his other tables the same great service. Thanks, Rhys! The restaurant was full, but the service was outstanding (thanks, Quinn!). The white chicken chili was outstanding as always, and the blackened salmon was excellent. The wet burrito was very good as well. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Ground Beef Wet Burrito
This wonderful little spot is located in downtown Grand Haven. It’s always been a “go to” for a nice casual atmosphere and good, affordable meals. The bar side feels like you’re in a Cheers episode. The restaurant side was recently remodeled with nice large windows that fill the space with brightness. Easily one of Grand Haven‘s best spots. Five stars for sure!

Wonderful service, cool old Grand Haven decor and the food was phenomenal! Dad loved his wet burrito and will be back again. My Chimichurri burger is something I'll come back for the next time I am in Michigan. Washed down with a tasty cold Short's lager and I'm a happy man tonight. 😋 I wish that I had taken photos, but it smelled so good, I started in right away. Definitely will take them next visit. We stopped here on a whim as our day trip came to a close. We got seated right away, despite the fact that the Coast Guard Fest was going on. It’s small, clean and very friendly. Service was prompt professional attentive and helpful. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu items. Because of this I tried the Sweet Pepper Crab Soup and my adult beverage. I had the Creamsicle (adult beverage) and it was absolutely delicious. Very smooth, creamy and I could not taste the alcohol despite the fact that it had 3 shots of vodka. My husband had The Coastie from Grand Armory Brewery in GH. Our waiter told us that a portion of the sale went to memorial fund for a Coast Guard member that had passed . We were more than happy to contribute. I had the Sweet Pepper Crab soup. It is a cream based soup with generous chunks of crab and red pepper. It’s served with a soft French bread slice and crackers. We shared the Traverse City Cherry Salad. It’s loaded with lots of goodies (dried cherries , toasted pecans, feta cheese crumbles, and rings of red onions) and fresh greens. My husband had Applewood Bacon Cheddar Burger. It looked delicious and apparently it was. Our server was prompt with our bill and items were reasonably priced. The food is fresh and high quality. They also have a nice outdoor seating area. It’s off the beaten tourist path and truly a hidden gem to tourists. We will definitely add it to our list of favorite restaurants. We highly recommend!!! This was only my second time here simply because I always forget that this little gems is tucked in the corner. I brought my parents here to try it out for their first time and they are some picky eaters but loved all their food! Our waitress was speedy and efficient. We never once had an empty glass, nor did we have to ask for refills. She was on it! The food was all delicious, my mom finished her entire sandwhich and I haven't seen that happen in 15 years! Definitely will be returning here more often! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Overall, we weren't that impressed, sadly. We stopped in for lunch on a Friday after hearing that the restaurant was being featured on America's Best Restaurants. Upon entering, the place was empty and there were five tables that needed to be cleared/cleaned still. Two employees were sitting at a table chatting, which we had to kind of interrupt to get seated. The food was okay. The crab rangoon was different, very oniony, and instead of the breading being light and crispy it was thick and chewy. The breading on the kid's chicken nuggets was also thick, very crunchy, and had been cooked too long because it was slightly burnt looking. The service was okay; we felt like our waitress didn't really want to be there that day and only did the bare minimum. Would liked to have tried it again at another point to see maybe it was a very off day, as most other reviewers seemed to have had a better experience than us, but we live pretty far away.
