About
Tasting perfectly cooked pizza is what many visitors advise. Draft beer that you will try is delicious. The cozy atmosphere of this bar allows guests to relax after a hard working day. The efficient staff at J. B. Meinberg can demonstrate how much they appreciate their customers. The spectacular service is something these restaurateurs care about. But google users rated this place and it didn't achieve a high rating.

Pretty disappointed in the last stop. Ordered an Oktoberfest from Odd Sides, 1 sip and it was sour! Definitely filthy taps and lines, so many other beers out. Waitress/bartender tried to talk my wife out of trying beers because she didn't like them... Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
Where do I begin, starting with the bad. every time I come here on a weekend I am gawked down by the bouncers. This place is always DIRTY it smells like old beer and it seems as if they pop popcorn to try and mask the horrible scent. bathrooms definitely need some renovation. Usually when I come here on the weekends, I am waiting at least 10 minutes for a drink, as the bartenders take orders from the people who were standing there the least amount of time and skip over me. I heard the owner has a reputation of being racist Need to limit the 'under 21' year olds on Thursday as they just cause a bad rep for your bar anyways. Who wants to go hangout with a load of underage people in a overly packed bar? NO FOOD NO ACTIVITIES. This is always a downfall. This is the part I wanted to bring up last, but here I go. There is this one specific female bartender that always seems to have a problem with me, somedays she has short unruly wacky crazy curly hair and some days it is straight. ALWAYS snobby not with just me, but with others also.NEVER smiles. She always charges me different prices for my drinks. Somebody needs to help this girl with her attitude or kick her to the curb. On a side note, I usually stop by in the middle of the week (Wednesday) and get a few beers along with some awesome service. The bartender is nice, friendly, and talkative. She is the main reason I come back on Wednesdays. I returned on a Friday (4/19) and discovered some great acoustic music on the Woody O'Briens side, along with 2 nice friendly attractive bartenders! I surely stayed away from meinburgs that night!! The waitress' are nice and awesome! THEY WORK THE HARDEST! pushing and shoving through crowds just to deliver cups to the dishwasher. I am hoping they get paid good. Music is great can be too loud.
I don't go there to drink, I've only been there twice and the first time was to see if I could place some fliers for a local haunted house there, and the bartender was nice and said yes I could, she was VERY nice and the second time was to actually drop off the fliers and the second bartender was nice. Both female bartenders were actually nice young women and J.B. Meinberg/Woody O'Brian's is very lucky to have them as bartenders. They have the best attitudes especially considering that they have to deal with obnoxious drunks pretty much every time they work. I'd worked at a quick service counter at Cedar Point in 2002 that required anyone working at that one to be 21 or older as they served beer at that one, very first one when you entered the front gates and was called Haufbrau (now known as Hurricane Hanna's) and I worked the cash register and had to get the guests their drinks and I did have to deal with a few obnoxious drunks. Course I had to deal with a kid under 21 try and get some beer too which I know these ladies probably see quite a bit too. I give them credit and would like to thank not only THEM but J.B. Meinberg/Woody O'Brian's for allowing me to place my fliers. I've run into some places that don't "support" local non profit places like the one I work at like Walmart (they "support" the hockey team, the girl scouts, the boy scouts, the veterans and the boys & girls club, but not small non profit places like haunted houses and yet 9 out of 10 of their corporate people love going to those kinda places. As a matter of fact I'm willing to bet 9 out of 10 of their employees at all their stores go to haunted house too.

We had the annual "Toast to the Chairman" (Saginaw County Board of Commissioners) last night at Meinbergs. Retro Rocks catered it. It was great!. If you have not been to Meinberg's or Woody's (the other room at Meinbergs) lately, you have to go. The new 56 tap beer selection and the entire atmosphere was awesome. Tom Miller is gracious host and the staff was excellent. Everyone that attended loved it!
This place is terrible. My African American boyfriend went on a Tuesday night to have a drink and try to comfort his cousin who just found out his mother had cancer. The owner stared flipping out on them for no reason and literally PAID them to leave... this place has always been known for racism, but this is a new low. Disgusting. Trust me, I will take this complaint further.
