We loved our time here! Such a cozy and relaxing atmosphere, kind staff, and delicious food! We ordered the chicken shish and chicken adana kebab. We really appreciated the complimentary Turkish tea and baklava samples. A lot of our experience reminded us of our visit to Istanbul and Ephesus, which made it that much more special. The restaurant serves Turkish and Greek cuisine. We visited the restaurant for the first time. We were pleasantly surprised. The dishes are prepared very well, everything is fresh and very tasty. We enjoyed our dinner. I would like to note that the restaurant is very clean. Tables, floor, cutlery, everything was clean. There is also good lighting in the restaurant. The service was great too. Atmosphere is nice and service was courteous and kind. Food is okay. Tabouleh was dry. The wrap was toasted perfectly, just enough for a slight crispness and flavor. Portions were good for me, I even took half my gyro home. This was for lunch. We were given complimentary tea which was lovely. It was perfect temperature and flavor. Food was great. Staff was amazing. The baklava is awesome. I tried the chocolate and regular and both are great. The Turkish coffee goes great with dessert. My wife and I love Istanbul and we make sure to stop by at least once a month. We can't get enough of the carrots so we order the appetizer sampler with 3 or 4 carrots servings. Everything I have tried is delicious and fresh and healthy. Mohammed was delightful as usual. Please make a point to try it, your tastebuds will thank you! Update October 2023 Fantastic food, great service. Turkish tea and coffee was delightful! Appetizers delicious! See photos! Update May 2023...back again. Love this place! Once again, Muhammet (owner/host) made us feel so welcome. Delicious lamb shank with rice pilaf, homemade pita bread and hummus, dolmas, turkish tea, and baklava. All homemade! They now sell Turkish goods in the store-- jewelry, leather bags, scarves, etc. See photos. Can't wait to return Update on 8/15/21... just returned to visit second time. Fantastic tea and pistachio rolls! Muhammet, the owner/host, was so gracious sharing his culture with us. He made us feel so welcome. Can't wait to return. Turkish tabouli, dolmades, hummus.. yummy food. We will be back for third visit soon.... Summer 2020-Original visit- The appetizer combo gives you an excellent introduction to Turkish food. Food was solid, but not the best I've had. However, as many others have said, it's overpriced for the portions you get. I had to order three entrees in order to be satisfied, but I do have a big appetite, to be fair. Everything was fresh, hot, and flavorful, though. The service was the best part. Our server went above and beyond and provided us numerous complimentary items to sample, which was much appreciated by myself and my family. The atmosphere could use some work; it's not really set up to be a good sit-down restaurant and there was an employee sleeping in a booth by the bathrooms. All that being said, I'd still recommend you give this place a go. The food isn't bad at all and they treat you well. A very refreshing change in a menu. The food is fresh and light, yea it is packed with flavor and filling. The pricing makes it easy to get a 3 course meal without breaking the bank. Take chance and explore the lamb and vegetarian dishes. I highly recommend the falafel and grape leave wraps. Be sure to enjoy the tea with a spoon full of sugar after dinner to chill the stomach.
