One of the most delicious meals we've ever had. Perfect mahi fish, amazing vegetables - super subtle in flavour and every bit of the plate licked clean. Speedo is a genius. Also, simply a lovely place to have a dinner and a beer. If you're ever in Soufriere, make sure you get a reservation! Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I'm delighted to share my recent experience at Island Chef. During a family dinner, I savored their catch of the day in creole sauce, which was absolutely perfect – fresh, flavorful, and simply delicious. The chef's passion for their craft was evident, and their accommodating nature added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. While everything was worth it, I believe the dining experience would be enhanced by the addition of a menu displaying the prices. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Let's support local business :) Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Fish Meal

Outdoor setting at ocean front soufriere market. Island chef provided us with a yummy St. Lucian breakfast consisting of cod fish veggies, coco tea and even gluten free finger foods. He uses the daily fresh ingredients from the open market right behind him and fresh fish brought in from the shore. There is no menu but daily creative items! Tasted so good. Would highly recommend. We went there part of St.Lucian scenic tours by Chris. Update: tried tuna lunch meal today and it was amazing. Lentils on the side with herbal curry seasoned tuna and provisions. Well seasoned and was super tasty. Update: had another awesome lunch: octopus with quinoa and chickpeas aling with local provisions! You can taste the Chef’s passion in the food. Peeked in the kitchen and saw high grade stainless steel pots that he uses~ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Make a reservation - No walk ups! WhatsApp him. Cash only. Get those two things right and you’re in for the freshest fish, rice, veggies and whatever else the chef is making. Not fancy. Just great tasty food just off the water on a simple table. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Popped by last minute for dinner and chef was gracious enough to cook up a FANTASTIC fish meal for us (make sure to reach out for a reservation if you want dinner!) Location is right on the water in Soufriere, and the food is better than anything you’ll find on any resort. Best food we have found on the island, be sure to stop by if you get the chance! We stopped of at Speedos for lunch yesterday. Had amazing fresh Tuna dish, $18 per person. Its a small shack next to the beach, great for a more local experience, Speedo is very passionate about his food and only cooks with what is available- set menue either fish or vegan. Well worth a visit. Thanks Speedo x Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We have eaten at various restaurants on the island. But the best food so far was by this very talented local chef Clearly he cooks with his heart and loves what he does. His talent clearly shows in his dishes. Simply outstanding! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
This is a little restaurant right on the coast of Soufriere, the food was just fantastic, there isn't really a menu, it's farm to table so he cooks what's available on the day, that being said there was a huge variety of vegetables on the plate, he also offered red snapper as the catch of the day be wanted to go vegan. I strongly recommend this little restaurant! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
10/10. Definitely a hidden gem that you need to visit if you are in Soufriere. The owner was super nice and agreed to make our fishing catches into a lovely local dish with creole sauce and coconut milk. We also tried the creole style octopus and conch stew, which tasted amazing. The chef also made us rice to which pairs well with the stew. Overall we had a great experience here. Thank you Speedo for hosting us!
