A hidden gem in the back streets of Rivonia/Edenburg.
This is the original branch of the Coffee shop/Bakery. The menu is quite extensive and has a lot of options for Breakfast/Brunch/Hot Beverages/Cakes/Non Alcoholic Drinks.
The restaurant is completely Halal and has some Lebanese dishes as well. Service is good and food comes out quickly. Tried two Lebanese dishes, coffee and crepe cake. And all the dishes were quite flavorful with the Lebanese sausage stir fried with onions and peppers as the standout meal.
On the day I visited, it was cold and so I chose to sit inside. The inside section is small and was quite loud as there were quite a lot of people in the small space. But on a nice warm day you can make use of the outside space where there should not be any issues. The shop is located with other businesses including a branch of Book Dealers where you can find some interesting reads. I would definitely recommend supporting them as well while you enjoy your food.
Definitely recommended

Great drinks and food selections.
The service received from our waiter was poor. He took so long to take food orders that we eventually decided to leave. Answered rudely when I was asking him a question.

Quiet coffee shop hidden in Rivonia, great coffee and a good selection of cakes, the Nutella and strawberry crepe is definitely one to try.

Overall food was okay to good but the service really moves this from a 3.5 to 4 star.
To start the iced coffee isn't worth the effort and the strawberry milkshake is a little tart for my liking.
The steak sandwich is yum but I think next time I will stick to the more middle eastern food. Please ensure that you get the specials menu. The laffa like wraps are tasty but dipped in that garlic sauce it is heaven.
The cake is the biggest let down. I heard great this but in the end the chocolate moose tasted more like gelatin than chocolate. Really disappointing.
This all sounds so negative but it is honestly a lovely spot with an excellent wait staff who are very attentive.
A relaxed Café with friendly staff and a very talented barista - thanks for the extra large Cappuccino. The cakes looked delicious... I tried the Tiramisu Crepe cake and it was absolutely divine - delectable layers of crepe, cake and cream. I'm looking forward to trying the other flavours too. The restaurant is perfect for a chilled breakfast or an afternoon catch up with friends.

Lovely hidden gem with great service. The French Toast is highly recommended. This is a Halaal restaurant so no alcohol or bacon served here. I can recommend this place for a light lunch.
For the management, I would recommend updating the menu's as they are old and prices changed with stickers doesn't look too great from outside perspective. Perhaps a sign outside to make you easier to find could be helpful as the signs above your head aren't seen clearly when approaching. Overall, this is a lovely place to support, thank you for having us.

What takes the 'cake' about this place for me, is that the food is all halal! Scope the pun there?
I love their petite and delicately designed and crafted desserts. Their schwarmas are delicious. There is also a second-hand book shop alongside the cafe that is affordable and ranges from books across all types of genres. It is glorious with a wealth of books and I'd say it has become my favorite book shop.
This is the perfect coffee shop to go to for an afternoon with a friend.
