This excellent coffee shop is a Hsinchu institution and one of the best places to come if you enjoy gourmet coffee. I find that my biggest problem is determining which coffee I want and how it should be made. Thankfully there is a detailed menu (also available in English). They also nice desserts - we shared a matcha tart with was good. This is a medium sized shop, but it’s popular and gets really busy. The atmosphere is nice and the staff helpful.

The creativity and quality at Ink Coffee makes them one of my favorite cafes in the world. I sneak away to their classic, impeccable, and comfortable upstairs for a WHATEVER I DO, whenever I get the chance. I am continually impressed, and even inspired by Ink Coffee.
It's a pretty nice place to spend an afternoon. The overall ambience is very confortable with warm wooden decorations. You feel intellectual in this place. People talks but not in a noisy way like some Starbucks. They provide a wide variety of coffee and they serve decent cakes. It might because of the location of our seat, it feels a bit cold. Will pay a visit next time.
I came here to meet up with some friends and have a nice afternoon chat. The place is pretty cozy and it smelled wonderful! If you like the strong scent of coffee, stop by and check it out yourself. There is a few tables outside the shop and also a second floor seating area with a variety of chairs, tables and couches. You would typically order downstairs and they will bring it up to you, then pay as you leave the establishment. The noise level was on the low end. You do not need to speak loudly over others or have a hard time hearing your friends talking. Everyone was respectful and mindful of others. I ordered an iced black tea and I felt the price was a bit high as it costs 160 NT. I guess if you factor in the internet, AC in the summer and a place to sit, it's not too expensive, but for black tea and in this small amount it seemed a bit steep. It also took a really long time to get my tea ( I know why order tea? Just felt like having it haha), maybe they had forgotten about it. My friend arrived 30 minutes after us, ordered a latte and received it quicker than my red tea haha. The attitude of one of the employee wasn't very friendly when I asked for some hot water for my friend. Overall I'll chalk it up to them being busy but felt it was worth noting. I would come back here again try their coffee next time, maybe it will be more worth it for the price.

Second floor ambient is great, cozy cafe with delicious coffee and baked cookies aroma throughout the shop, book shelf is stocked with books (in chinese) that can be read, would definitely recommend
Was surprised to this coffee shop! Ordered ice Latte and it was very smoothy for a fairly size!
Even the tea cake was also amazing!
Definitely worthy to go visit again!
