This place deserves a rave review on every level! I thought I had done a review on this place every time we've gone, but apparently, I kept forgetting. The owner is an absolute hoot to meet, and all the food we have had so far has been beyond my imagination every time! Last time, I mistakenly got myself addicted to their horchatta, lol. Oh my goodness, divine! Best I've ever had! The chimichanga practically melted in my mouth and the flat bread...well, it's perfect every time. Very authentic and finger licking good! My friend has been going there for over 20 years, and it's the same she remembers and never disappoints. They create nostalgic memories. We walked in about 30 minutes before closing. We hated to do it, but we weren't going to be back anytime soon, so we decided we would eat quickly and leave so they could get to their lives. The food came quickly, and we learned as fast that the owners' confidence was not unfounded. The Chimichanga was one of the best I have ever had! The Horchata was delicious! It truly was, in his words, a treat. The kitchen employees were very nice despite our late arrival, but we successfully finished before the closing bell and went on our way. Do not miss this gem when you find yourself in Carefree. Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The beef tacos and beef tamale were some of the best I've ever eaten. It's a no-frills place with the focus on the food. Stop here!!! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Beef Taco
This is where you fine actually Mexican food!! The shredded beef tacos and Spanish and beans was amazing! I was told by a co-worker that if you love Mexican food then you will love Indian village! But my favorite part about this restaurant is that it is attached to a souvenir shop so you just wouldn't expect there to be a hole in the wall right in the back. Freaking awesome!!

Really awesome place! Well worth visiting. We got some amazing fry bread for my wife’s first time trying it. Affordable and delicious, authentic home cooked food. They even let us bring our own drinks in no problem. Very friendly staff. Cool gift shop inside with affordable jewelry and amazing crafts.
Stopped by for lunch after a drive when no one could pick and was not disappointed. Two of us had the Navajo tacos, one fry bread with red chili and beans and one burrito. Afterwards we looked through the store and picked up a couple small things.
The fry bread was really good. In my opinion its really good with cheese on it but there's a wide variety of toppings you can have on your bread. Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Indian Fry Bread
