India house is a good place for food. The food seems authentic and has good flavor. Compared to other Indian food I have had, it wasn't quite as flavorful and it was more expensive (about $25 a person, including tip and no drinks). They also charge per box to take food home in whifh I thought was odd.The meat was really good in it though. I like Indian food so it was still a good experience overall. Hands down the best Indian food in the area. Paneer butter masala was amazing. Medium spice was just enough to get a small kick but not over power the dish. The chicken methi malai was amazing as well. The samosas were great because they had spice and depth and were not bland like most places. The house naan was very filling. The staff were polite and friendly. The food came out quick. Really enjoyed the overall experience, would highly recommend. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30

WOW!!! This food is amazing! The first thing you notice when you step through the door is the amazing aromatic smells enticing you in immediately.! I'll admit the menu is a little intimidating, but only because I'm not familiar with classic traditional Indian food. You can taste the love that goes into every dish. Truly one of the most unique flavors I've experienced here is Idaho in the last 5 years. Even if you have a fear of trying something new, get over it!!! Lol. Soooo good!! And the ice cream is worth it too. Never had authentic homemade pistachio ice cream before. We couldn't leave. Definitely should make this place your next stop. We will be back... Definitely😁 Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Masala Papadum
Could not be better. We've been here at least dozen times and not only are they consistent but their food is unbelievably delicious. We crave this food and will happily drive the hour from our house to Post Falls for a wonderful meal with them. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20
Best Indian I have had in a few years. Much better than anything in Spokane. I had the lamb masala, raita, cheese naan, and the mixed grill. Great service. Only complaint is the menu says Pepsi which I don't like and when I paid the bill I noticed the fountain was Coke which I would have ordered after yhe Mango lassi Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

First time trying Indian Cuisine! First impressions were great! The food was delicious ! Loved the atmosphere and dessert as well! The food came out quickly and the garlic Naan was 😍. We tried the Chili Gobhi Appetizer, Butter Chicken , Ginger Chicken that both came with rice. Some Garlic Naan and the Gulab Jamun dessert. I saw an area for a buffet but I don't think it's available right now. That would be exciting! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30

My party of 5 arrived at 704pm (8/4/2023). We were seated and prompty given a couple of carafes of water, then completely ignored until 735pm. No menus. No "we'll be right with you." Nothing. During our time there, several people walked out, and a couple sitting across from us said they had been there a very long time but were patiently waiting to order. At 735pm, one of the staff approached our table and asked if we were ready to order. We didn't even have menus! I stated the couple across from us had been there a lot longer than us and requested that he take their order. The face this man made was pure comedy, and it was clear that he was taking orders based on party size. It's all about the money, right! The couple thanked me, and as they placed their order, my group of 5 left the restaurant. Looking through the reviews, it's doubtful that most of them are from dining in, so keep that in mind. I will order ahead when I'm ready to give this place another try. I will update this review then as well. Of note, we ended up at El Ranchero, where we were greeted, seated, served, and left by 820pm! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
Exceptional food and service to match. I've now been to India House 3 times and absolutely amazed at the quality and consistency of the food. I've had the Mushroom Shrimp (medium heat), mushroom fish (mild Heat) and tandoori shrimp (Hot heat) and have been absolutely blown away by the complexity of flavors. If you've never tried Indian food this is a fantastic opportunity to dip your toe into a world of spices and flavor different from anything you've had before. The owner is amazing to talk with and has accomplished a great deal over the last year building a loyal (and very well deserved) fan base. EAT THIS FOOD!
Without a doubt one of the best Indian food options in the entire east Washington/ Spokane/ CDA area. We’ve tried the food here a couple of times. The aloo parantha left a lot to be desired. Dal makhani (classic North Indian dish) wasn’t something we’ll try again. Spring rolls were just okay. Now to the best part: the paneer dishes are good (we’ve tried tikka masala and paneer bhuna), chicken dishes are good and so was the fresh garlic naan. 5 stars because of the friendly service and the entire operation. Pretty sure India House is the best Indian Food in at least a 100 MILE RADIUS. It's absolutely authentic and mouthwateringly delicious. This stuff is the real deal. Heavenly. Only warning - our (USA) idea of spice is not the Indian idea. Therefore 1-5 spice levels, with 5 being the spiciest, reads to the average American who is NOT used to spices as this: 1: barely spicy at all 2: hot 3: super super hot 4: unbearably hot 5: death by fire. Anyway 10/10 recommend this place. They're perfect. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30
