We went there on New Year’s Eve and had a magnificent feast, the seafood is very fresh and taste amazing, portion size for the lobster, prawns and fish is big. Price range is acceptable and good too considering the weight of the seafood. However I feel the oysters are not worth it for the size of each oyster is too small. It was an enjoyable time spent for us

Butter prawns were excellent. Tried an exotic dish: stone fish. The vegetables with egg was nice to eat as well.
Two other dishes were large cockerels and shells.
Great food. It is fresh seafood with simple seasoning which is best way to taste the freshness and sweetness. Pricey considering the size of fish. It was RM180 for the steam parrot fish, about 20cm long, but no doubt absolutely delicious. Total RM320.

This is the first time I have eaten in this Imperial Seafood Restaurant. Compared to Welcome Seafood Restaurant, my experience is that overall, this seafood restaurant is better.
The seafood here is fresh. They are displayed in their aquariums. Patrons get to choose which seafood they want and this is what the restaurant prepares.
My biggest surprise was with the lobster dish we ordered. The restaurant had removed most of the meat from the shell so that we would not have the trouble of extracting the meat ourselves. After we had finished eating the lobster meat, they came to take away the dish with the lobster shell on it. That was when they explained that there still was some remaining meat inside the shell and the restaurant was now taking back this shell to prepare a noodles dish. The remaining meat in the lobster shell was then extracted from the shell and added to the noodles dish.
Well, I was surprised by their honesty regarding the remaining lobster meat inside the shell.
Coupled with their friendly and obliging staff, I believe that I would give this restaurant a better score than their neighbouring Welcome Seafood Restaurant.
Am hoping that Imperial Seafood Restaurant will maintain its standard.
However, do be aware. Nothing is free in this World. And this restaurant is pricey - very pricey. Their cheapest fish grouper dish will set you back RM 120 per kg (a fish which is bought in the market for about RM 30 per kg). My opinion is that I will willingly pay a high price if not just the food and service are top notch but the dining environment has to also match. This Imperial Seafood Restaurant however does not have the classy environment to match the high prices being charged.

Great value for money and delicious fresh seafood! No random charges and you are really getting the freshest seafood from the tanks in front of the shop! Honest owner and friendly service. On top of that, they cooked the seafood really well. Highly recommended!

Very nice seafood. Well cooked clams and perfectly steamed fish and fresh prawns. Very delicious. Very reasonable price for such quality cooking. The restaurant split into 2 has very limited tables. Better book in advanced if big group. Does not accept eWallet payment. Only credit cards or cash. Very good service.

The seafood is as fresh as it can be. Cook in a simple way and not fancy with other added ingredients are the best option.
The sweetness of the prawns from plain steam is so good. I wouldn't dip with any souce.
Grouper fish steam with light soya really yummy.
Local veggie stir fry with sambal blends well with white rice .
Overall the price is acceptable and most important are the freshness of the seafood.

If you are tourist, don’t even think about eating here! The live clams came out with only shells. The live fish we picked from the tank tasted just like previously frozen, which prompted us to suspect it had been switched. The owner was apologetic and gave us discounts. We were not looking for cheap seafood, we wanted to enjoy a good meal!!!! I would not recommend this restaurant!
