I don't know what happened to this place, years back it used to be so good and expectations were always met. I had a horrible experience today, to start off we waited more than 1 hour for our food! To add, there wasn't even a lot of people. Once we finally got our food it was very cold and hard. Our waiter was very slow, and seemed like he kept leaving to other parts of restaurant for long periods of time, never asked if we needed refills or nothing. He was doing this to all his other tables, as the other tables also seemed very angry. Highly dissapointed, please return the old management that had this IHOP running smoothly!!!

Staff was slow. No one greeted for after 10 min waiting in lobby. The waiter was slow and seem like she didn't know anything. Constantly forgetting. Ask for warm syrup and brought coffee. I wind up pouring coffee on pancakes. I was like what the heck going on here.

My daughter and I came here at noon. We got seated fairly quick. Once we got to the table no one came back to help us. 20 mins later not even a drink. The table beside us came in after and got helped. We left and went to the Mesquite location. Seated quickly and food came out fast. The other location has potential but needs better employees.

I’m never the kind to leave bad reviews, I went here with my fiancé and friends, we sat down and our waiter was automatically not interested in treating us. We found a hair in our food, we did get a heartfelt apology from higher up but it seemed to just give our waiter more of a reason to be even ruder and non interested in us, he did not come up to us once and check up on us and when he did he seemed annoyed to even do so.

I tried items on the Willy Wonka menu for breakfast and dinner. They were delicious and surprisingly looked just like the picture on the menu! Service was amazing and the restaurant was clean. I have a few more items to try so I'm definitely going back.

As someone who has a background in food service and dealing with the public, it’s sad running into a dining establishment with potential, who squanders it on multiple levels. I came in on Christmas Eve and was pleasantly surprised I would finally get in to dine here. I was kept waiting up front ten minutes before a server (no one is dressed in any kind of attire that would indicate server) asked me if I was picking up a take out order. Is the service that bad that nobody eats here? I let him know no, and that I had been kept up there with no one showing any concern. I was seated by the same young man who never told me his name, never made any dining suggestions, or did anything to make me feel welcomed beyond asking for my beverage order. I selected the pot roast (55 +) which was quite good although the fries were salty although not as over salted as with Denny’s. I ordered the chocolate cake. It was delicious but the presentation was lacking to say the least. The dessert experience gave me the impression it was served nearly frozen. It was clearly served without any kind of plan. The cake should have given time to thaw with enough time so it doesn’t have a frozen quality. The chocolate cake should be served with a little hot fudge (or offered) and with more whipped cream than the dab provided. They have no procedure to present the check and pay if you don’t have the app as the means to pay. I was almost in the kitchen when given the chance to pay. Eager to try the IHOP off the George Bush in Garland. It is clear here why they display such a poor execution of turning over tables and maintaining a positive dining experience.

We had a late night unexpected party of around 15, with a small kid and a stroller and she was able to quickly set us up in our own room, and an added bonus was she even knew Spanish!! All the food was wonderful, not a single wrong order! It was so nice to be able to not have to wait 2 hours for several tables to be set up and she was very sweet and patient with all! Thanks for the rescue Ihop!

Just came here and stood at the front desk with my daughter and I was looked at by at least 3 staff and no one came to help us to assist us to take a seat so we just left. It isn’t busy at all, that is unacceptable and so rude. Please do better. Had to give it one star but deserves a zero.

I really liked our server, it’s too bad I can’t remember her name but if I see her again, will request her. She held great conversation with myself and my daughter. The area was clean. The atmosphere was a little off I think because other servers were not as hospitable and courteous as ours.
