I love ihop but this location could use some work. It’s not very clean. I’ve gone several times and everything is always sticky and there’s always stuff on the walls. The food is just ok, the hash browns are usually very overcooked to the point that it’s entirely dry and not crispy on top and semi moist underneath. Every time I’ve gone we’ve had polite waitresses but on multiple occasions it seems no one wants to be there and it shows. This is coming from someone who frequently feels the same way but it seems to be impacting everything. The cleanliness, the interactions, and the food. My ONLY complaint is that, during the winter, the lobby is wicked cold. I was glad when I saw they had the area near the lobby was closed. But....the food is always good (except for the biscuits and gravy). That stuff just isn't like the biscuits and gravy you get anywhere else. Whole sausage on top of gravy. Nah. Cathy the General Manager is amazing. I watched her treat all customers like friends. I witnessed her special TLC with an elderly couple - the wife has Alzheimer's. Her soothing voice and gentleness did not go unnoticed. She always greets customers with a smile and makes folks feel happy they came to IHOP. When we first went in there was no one at the front. It was slow so figured it was because the server had one table so she was grabbing food from the kitchen. The lady was super nice but the atmosphere was not what we expected.... We visit this establishment to honor our Father in Law (Father, Brother, Husband, Grandfather). He loved it. On our previous visit, we didn't have a great experience (we are a large group). This time we were able to make a reservation and had a much better time. Some food was mixed up, but everything was fixed. It's exactly what you think it will be. Always tasty! Country fried steak is my favorite. My dining mate ordered the same. The steak was not moist but rather on the dry side. I still like IHOP and the food and value ! Waited 15 minutes for my meal, come to find out that they over cooked my steak and it tasted like rubber. The egg tasted bad. Also the hash browns were dry. Almost choked😣 three starts because the waiter was nice. Service Delivery Meal type Breakfast
