Left my debit card at a business near them so I parked in *one* of the *multiple* "reserved 5 minutes max" spots and went to get the card, planning to get some sweet treats for myself. When I came back to my car with the card (less than 3 minutes from parking to returning), the employee was trying to get my car towed. 🙄 There wasn't a single customer in the store. Guess I'll be going somewhere else for my treats! Service: 1

I have never been treated so rudely. I had a long lunch with a friend at a restaurant down the street and thought I’d stop in on my way home and pick up some dessert for my kids. The lady in the shop freaked out when I came in because I wasn’t wearing a mask. Keep in mind this is well after even doctors offices are no longer requiring masks, and refused to say anything else to me except that I need to get a mask. I have zero problem with people who still want to wear masks or feel more comfortable/safe wearing one but to go ape on a potential customer because they don’t have one on or to require potential customers to wear one after even doctor’s offices are not requiring them is ridiculous. Needless to say, I left and purchased my family’s dessert elsewhere.

WOW! The absolute best cupcakes I've ever had are from here. I'm not sure why there are a couple negative reviews. These cupcakes are always beautifully presented, moist, and flavorful. She provides unique, fun flavors regularly. The shop is adorable, and the owner is SO SWEET. I ate a coconut cream pie cupcake and am OBSESSED!! Literally so delicious! I've ordered here a few times and never have been disappointed. Definitely would recommend!!!

Terrible customer service, I asked about a 10" lemon cake, the young person replied, our menu is on the website, I told her I was having a hard time reading the menu on the phone. I then asked if they make a 10" lemon cake, she again referred me to the website, I asked her I'd she could simply answer my question, she replied, your not disabled dude. Seriously????

Their cupcakes are overpriced and really small, they were barely up to the top of the liner. I could have made better cupcakes myself. We were celebrating or wedding with a small gathering and most of the comments were that the cupcakes were extremely dry and too much frosting, one had more frosting then cake! . The lady I assume was the owner was not friendly at all. For small dry and overly sweet cupcakes I will never go back there. There are MUCH better bakeries out there. Buyer beware!!!

I stopped in here after having a long lunch with a friend down the street. As soon as I entered the lady working began to yell at me about needing to have a mask on. Keep in mind this is months after even doctors offices stopped requiring masks. I have zero problem with people who continue to wear them and zero problem with wearing one when I don’t feel well, but I felt very attacked walking in off the street and being yelled at. I haven’t carried a mask on me in months and it was a very startling experience. Needless to say, I left and purchase desserts elsewhere.

Good cookies, but terrible custard parfait. There was zero custard. It was layers of bland vanilla cake and raspberry jam with no custard. I turned the parfait out into a bowl to try and find the custard. There was none to be found in the raspberry custard parfait. What a disappointment.

Icing on the Cake is one of my favorite spots in Bellingham! The desserts are so tasty, the owner and staff are wonderful, and the inside of the shop is so lovely and purple! I'm always glad to get treats here and would highly recommend to anyone looking for something sweet.
