Hy-Vee Market Grille Express will offer you delicious wine or good liqueur. It is nice to try great coffee. Select between indoor and outdoor seating. This place is recommended for attentive employees. Based on the reviewers' opinions, prices are affordable. There is cozy atmosphere at this spot. But this bar has been rated below average by Google.

Their Chinese food is pretty good. The service is average, as is the atmosphere. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Bacon Jalapeno Wontons
I am ALLERGIC to wasabi and in my doordash order, I SPECIFICALLY asked for no wasabi and also got no eating utensils and or napkins, soy sauce either.
Good sushi. Decent portions. Service was a little slow. But we were taken care of. Will be back.

Went the the Market Grille with my family today. I love their sushi but thought I would try something new. I got the pad Thai. It was $14 and it was probably one of the worst things I have ever had at a restaurant. It was slimy, the whole thing. The noodles were over cooked, the chicken was mushy, and it was swimming in sauce. For $14 I was expecting a lot more. The waitress told us the specials but she failed to mention that it was unlimited wings. My husband would have loved that and when he found out after placing his order she told him it was too late to change it even though she neglected to tell him and didn’t seem to concerned about it at all. Instead he had a subpar burger that was over cooked. Our kids both loved their meals so that was a plus. They even come with dessert which the kids loved. I used to love the market grille but the food has really gone down hill. For $14 a plate you really expect better food than what we received this evening.

This Restaurant is nice, but on the day we visited they weren't very busy, We had to flag down our server for any refills or anything else including the bill. There was only one more couple in the restaurant and a few more people at the bar. Food was good but when it came out it was already cooled down which probably means it was sitting for a little bit. My wife is sick and has to use a scooter for mobility, it's already difficult getting her in and out of the restaurant. I don't think I will try this place again.

While the food is great, the service has gone down a bit. Glasses left unfilled for the entire meal, and orders being wrong. Additionally if you bring your child that needs a high chair I would reconsider it. They do not clean them and are often caked with food and leftovers. Not even wiped down, and when asked to wipe it down it was if they didn’t even try. Asked for a different one and they brought us one just as gross. This is the third time in a row with the high chairs.
I've tried eating here a couple times since it opened. Most of the time its okay but one trip we waited 30 minutes without being served. Tonight we went for the special advertised all you could eat crab legs. The hostess who sat us was thoughtful enough to stop back by a few minutes in and bring us a soda and water because the waitress was busy. Just 25 minutes later we still haven't even met our waitress. The bar was extremely busy due to happy hour but the dinning room was much slower. A table was sat right across from us and was greeted in 3 minutes by their waitress. They had beverages, honey bread, and ordered apps and dinner. My wife and I were amazed by the fact that even though we were directly across from the server station with several waiters in attendance they wouldn't acknowledge us. I was wearing business casual from being at work all day, my wife had just gotten out of her classroom(Just in case someone thought maybe we weren't dressed for the location).I went to the hostess station where I paid for my soda and asked to speak to a manger, explaining the situation. When the manager came out he apologized for how busy they were. He even tried to comp a meal however no one wants to go back to a table and get snide service or something worse for making a complaint. This is the second time they skipped our service. The staff obviously doesn't know the first thing about zoning or table management. I spoke with another manager in the Hyvee store with who I've had great interactions with. He informed me this is the number 1 complaint from the Market Grille. He had heard it several times before. The bar is the money maker in any restaurant business. Discounted apps and cheap beer is a great draw and looks like fun. However the Grille bills itself as a medium to upper dinning facility with meals going from 13 to 30 dollars an entree. With that in mind they should bother to take care of the patrons or close it up and just be a micro brew and burger joint. A poor excuse for customer service.
The waitresses are usually top notch...I dine in about concept twice a week. Food is usually very good..2 things I would give constructive criticism on.. I would change up the salad bar salads and not do sane salads every week including healthier options including soups.. or serve 1 healthy soup option. The other tip is breakfast time..please either leave coffee pot on table or be sure to have staff refill coffee timely..you shouldn't have to ask.
My mom and I came to market grille for breakfast this morning. This was my first time eating breakfast here (I've only been here a few times in general), and I was very disappointing. After we sat down, it took about 10 min for the waiter to take my drink order. By that time we were ready to order as well, but he took our drink orders and left right away. I ordered a hot chocolate and water. The hot chocolate was not even as good as the packets in my kitchen cabinet, and my water didn't come out until 5 minutes later. My mom ordered creamer with her coffee that was forgotten. She had to ask again, and by the time she got it, her coffee was cold. Our waiter only came around about every 10 min, and acknowledged us half of that time. We waited about 40 minutes for our food. I ordered one of the more expensive meals on the menu, a salmon eggs benedict. When it came out the plate literally had hollandaise sauce dripping over the sides. There was so much that I couldn't even see one of my English muffins, and they were soggy from the sauce. The eggs were overcooked and solid. The salmon was overcooked, dry, and over-seasoned (paprika was literally caked on the outside). The flavor of my meal wasn't bad, but sadly the best part of my meal was the side of toast I ordered. My mom got an omelette. It wasn't bad, but just kinda of "okay". This was just an overall dissapointing experience. For as much as I paid for my meal, my expectations were much higher. Our waiter was very nice, but terrible customer service. The food was not good. Needless to say I won't be coming back here anytime soon.
