We love HyVee!! Our daughter is a special needs young adult with Autism and Epilepsy. We love that they have Caroline's Carts there for her! It makes shopping with her a lot easier!
Would love to give zero stars. No matter what time of day you go, it will take you a minimum of 10-20 minutes to go through check out. Whether a person or self checkout. Even when it's backed up, they have half the self checkouts closed for what appears to be no reason. Also EVERYTHING is over priced. They focus so much on shoving non essential products in your face and make it harder to find essentials or non over priced goods. Not to mention the layout of everything is so bad. I get it, they want a separate section for "organic" or "local". But sometimes I want certain things to be higher quality and I just want to be able to select those things from one area. There should be two separate chip areas, or coffee areas. Or whatever. You get the point. Every single time I go into this store is a mistake. Thinking I can grab one quick thing. Nope.

I want to love this location as it’s super close to where I live. The store overall is fine, always pretty clean and the workers are nice. Sometimes later at night they can be yelling and blasting music which is a little unprofessional but I understand end of day excitement. The major problem I have is in the past 2 years Hyvee prices have been insane. I can go to Target and get groceries (and more) there for cheaper. I know times are changing, and Hyvee is now starting some new matching program, but everything is $1-2 more per item compared to other stores, which makes us not want to shop there anymore

Produce Dept always fresh. The Asian food counter is delicious. Prices, I find, to be less expensive than CUB for a nicer shopping experience.

Its pretty good wish they would stop profileing my roomate. They are a big deal in the community and it sorta stinks that they get looks and employees report them to management for shopping while black. Also they badly need to improve their stock on tomatoes and minutemade juice

Mohammad is a crummy gm, he's extremely rude and condescending to his staff in front of customers and he outright refused to let me get past him in the frozen food aisle while I was trying to get chicken nuggets because he was apparently too busy unloading an order. Also your aggressive high/low pricing is ridiculous, any item in the store is subject to a +/- 40% price change any given day it seems. Boooo.

I think most of their locations are pretty decent they don't all look the same. Each of them have a special touch, which makes it unique as a grocery store. They always have fresh produce and a decent meat department. I think some of their general items can be reasonable, although there are a few things that can be kind of spendy, which is why I give it a four.

Their bakery goods. The Danish in me takes over. I love their 3 dollar cherry bread loafs. They also have wonderful cakes & I'm so happy they read my review here about wishing that they served smaller sizes of cakes or bakery goods in general to buy, because now they do offer the smaller pieces of the fancier cakes. I've had 2 pieces of cake in the past 2 days & boy what a treat. Their 5 dollar pulled pork sandwiches are awesome too. Additionally, They have Drinking fountains, a bike rail to lock up bikes, star bucks, restaurants, clean atmosphere, & sometimes decent prices but it depends on the item.

So I did a review 3 years ago and this store was amazing. We decided to eat before we shopped today! We ordered from the Asain Cousine counter, the kid behind the counter was very quiet, didnt stir the food befor serving I had to ask him to stir it first as to get some flavor from the bottom and not get all of the cold from the top of the entree that we ordered. We were never greeted by the kid behind the counter or anything nor did we get a Thank you for coming. When we went to pay for it, There was No one behind the counter to help check us out so we were told we had to go to the check out lanes because they were shorthanded. I find this inexcusable! I understand being shorthanded, but rather than make people go check out in the lanes, maybe step up and help check your customers out when asked for help. I believe it was a restaurant manager we asked about service and were told that they were shorthanded. And the food at best was just mediocre. Would not recommend this unless you were on a time crunch as we are today. The store its self was fine, No complaints I will give them 5 stars!!!

Did not realize this place was employee-owned. Awesome place to shop with lots of selection, lifestyle products, and a really nice housewares section that feels like a completely separate store within a store. The staff are amazingly nice, caring. They were super busy when we arrived and one of the employees told us they’re a little short staffed and then directed us to a separate counter where we were quickly checked out. What a great environment to work in when people pitch in and help each other out. Would definitely shop here all the time if I lived nearby.
