At Husna's, a tiny Kibandaski restaurant off Diani Beach Road, their viazi karai and cardamom tea is properly special. With their signature ukwaju sauce, you cut into the potatoes and just realize how well the potatoes are done. The glamour for this space lies in the plate. The cooks push that little kitchen hard. Delicious local food. I was here two days in a row for breakfast, and each time got a bowl of red beans with chapati. I suppose they serve more variety of dishes in the afternoon, but I would definitely eat here at least once a week if I lived in Diani permanently.
