Arrived at 12:40pm (lunch meal). Seated immediately. Seated in the rear of the restaurant. Once seated, it took 10 minutes for our waitress to greet us and take our drink order. TWO waitresses was working the rear for two tables. The place was not busy. One group of 4 was leaving when we were seated, and another group of six was near us that had finished ordering when we were seated. 1st red flag was when one of the waitresses was complaining out loud how the group of 4 left a terrible tip and bashed them. Once we ordered, it took (1:55pm) OVER ONE HOUR and FIFTEEN MINUTES to get our food. Our waitress continued to stop periodically and apologize and kept saying your food is next up.....which it should be since we were the only group in there. Refills for our drinks took forever. The place started to get busy when we were leaving. The place has a very cool look. 2 bar areas, one as soon as you enter and another in the rear of the building. Enjoyed a fun evening out with great food from the Ale House last weekend. I had the chicken and broccoli mac and cheese and my husband had the big ole fish sandwich. We both thought our meals and beers were delicious. We got a tip from our waitress Branlynn that you can ask them to add seasoning salt to the fries to kick them up :) Special thanks to manager Tom who was so kind and professional. He was working hard seating folks on a busy Saturday night (1/27/24) and running dishes out, however he still took time to give us drink recommendations and check in on our experience. Can't go wrong with any of the Mac n Cheese options. I wasn't thrilled with my Steak Tips because it was chopped up into tiny pieces which isn't generally what you get when ordering steak tips. It was still tasty though so not really complaining. Our server was great along with the other servers that interacted with us. We usually stop here on every visit to Huntington. One of mine and my husband’s favorite places to go! The atmosphere is unique and adds to the experience. Our waiters have always been friendly, but Shaun was especially great, attentive and very helpful with drink recommendations. Never had a bad meal here. We’ve never had a bad experience here. Tonight we decided to try options from the brunch menu for the first time and everything was absolutely delicious. The waffles were perfect, a true Belgian style waffle. My husband had the maple chicken waffles and he loved them! Shawn was our server and he was lovely, so polite, kind, made us feel very comfortable. Drinks were delicious. 10/10 as usual! What a great little gem to find, traveling all day wanted a steak and drink. Landed here and I have to say hidden gem, prime rib was excellent. Not sure how those green beans were prepared but man they were good. My wife's steak tips were very good as well, it is so nice to find out find a gem like this. Well done, great food and drinks... A really gorgeous venue with pretty great food and a really impressive tap list! I got the rack of ribs and my mom got the chicken, everything was pretty tasty. The server was kind of quiet and hard to understand, but overall a really great experience and a great place to eat on our trip through the western part of the state. First time in Huntington. Found this place online. I knew i was going to love it as soon as I walked in the door, and the music they were playing was fantastic. My son and I loaded up on the half prices appetizers that were amazing. STUFFED MUSHROOMS AND BONELESS BBQ WINGS. my son had the steak that was cooked to perfection, and I had the chicken breast. A great place to eat, they have excellent food, I would definitely recommend the Mac and cheese it’s different but truly very good. Their chicken is amazing the wing appetizers are the best anywhere in the area great chicken and breading. They have happy hour from 3 till 6 I think with half off appetizers and drinks. Service is very good. Highly recommend this place
