Fast, friendly, and attentive staff. A lot of options - different combinations for a delish plate of food. Ordered the 4-piece Rangoon’s - delicious and perfect with the sauce. This HuHot Mongolian Grill in Sioux City lives up to my general expectation for the franchise on the whole. Food is excellent, and despite how many people come here, there usually isn't any wait time to get in. The atmosphere is pleasantly HuHot, and customer service has been good at this location. The only thing they could really improve on, would be cleaning the sauce ladles far more frequently. No one likes a sticky experience. Plenty of room here for any size group! First of all, I didn’t even get to eat. I came in with a party of 11. Myself and another friend had WLS in the past and we eat around a cup of food at a time. Which has NEVER been a problem here. They let us get a to go, then sit with all of our friends, eat a few bites of our food and take the remainder of the to go, which we pay for. Tonight was different. The girl who rung up the togo order was rude, didn’t want to help, gave us the wrong size bowls and got mad when she had to go get the correct bowls. She also decided to keep a tip for herself and began slamming stuff around when the change was asked for. The manager then came out and informed us they will not be allowing us to eat here if we get a to go. We need to leave. We wouldn’t even be allowed to sit with our friends. Long story short, I won’t be returning. I feel like the manager did her job and was just enforcing the rules but to tell us we had to get our food and leave us a bit much. But the server Selena’s attitude was 110% uncalled for. I honestly use to love coming here. But it’s ridiculous to be treated the way we were because we wanted to pay for a to go and to sit with our friends. A decent attitude goes a long way guys!!
