Stopped in for a quick lox bagel and was greeted by friendly staff and an even better bagel! The lox was fresh and the in-house whipped cream cheese was smooth and creamy. I highly recommend getting the lox sandwich with the everything bagel. I’ve had my fair share of bagels in NYC and this House of Bagels has really hit the mark in terms of presentation, freshness, and taste.
Everything in the store is well presented and clean, so you can definitely tell management cares and knows how to run a store like this. They also stock other types of items like pizza bagels, croissants, and pastry sticks. 5/5 will return next time when I’m in the area.
The best location hands down! Regular customer and the 2 men that work here are the best, they give the best customer service and always make my bagel 🔥 thanks guys!
House of Bagels on Prospect supplied Breakfast for the end of the year celebration for Prospect High School and As you can see they were delicious. Jeffrey was very helpful and awesome.
Horrible service!!!! Asked for fresh orange 🍊 juice, the lady owner on the counter gave me Togo plastic container with suppose to be fresh squeezed orange juice.
Foul taste, not fresh squeezed as she and her husband confirmed to us that is fresh!!!
It taste like bottle ones but with a strange taste, I was getting worried and after being lied to. These people are not honest and God knows from where they collect that juice!!

Crusty outsides, fluffy inside, and toppings cover the entire bagel! I’m a sesame gal and it’s annoying those times you basically get a slight sprinkle of sesames on top. I’m not able to go as often as I used to but if I’m in the area I love stopping in. So much better than nearby Noah’s and I prefer over other House of Bagels locations in the area. They just make good bagels 👌bonus: they have mini bagels for your tiny tots
This place is my go-to bagel shop. It's clean as a whistle, owners are pleasant and go out of their way to accommodate, they always have a great selection of bagels and goodies...and one of the few places left that have SALT bagels!! And their bagels are better than the competition.
The staff is so kind and wonderful. I love their Caramel iced coffee with soy milk. Ever since I discovered it, Starbucks has stopped seeing me. I usually get their Bacon, egg and cheese on a butter croissant. One time they gifted my daughter a cookie, she said that they made her day.
