Small town feel, small town service, small town food, large portions. Our server, Carrie, recommended some EXCELLENT food and her attitude was cheerful and welcoming. Highly recommend this place. Hungry for down home cooking? Make sure you are REALLY hungry. Portion sizes are super generous. I always order their horseshoe omelet, which is also called a "hot mess on a plate". It may not be the prettiest but it is fantastic! The atmosphere is perfectly small town as you look out onto the main drag. Service is always done with a smile. Highly recommend! Visited 2/25/24. I'd try someplace else next time and would not recommend. This restaurant was walking distance to our hotel room. A Sunday morning 8AM was busy, but a couple open tables got us right in. Decor is pretty neat, a small western town cafe. Wait staff was typical, hard working ladies that seemed to be doing their best at keeping up with the busy morning, not overly attentive but responsive to our requests for coffee refills. Their effort received a good tip from us. My view from the table looked out at the street, I enjoyed seeing the town waking up on the busy corner location. Disappointed to report that our food was not great. Fried eggs and bacon were ok but the home fries and tater tots were NASTY. They were either fried in really old oil, spoiled or something. Both were very gross, inedible. My buddy's Omelet was ok, but he felt like he had food illness shortly after our meal. His view from the table was looking toward the kitchen and dinning area, he had the opinion the place was dirty. The wait staff was so busy that we never said anything about our potatoes, just paid the bill and left. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
Lisa waited on us. And her family was here. A neighboring store owner came in and they greeted each other by name. It is decorated in western theme and the atmosphere is exactly as I hoped. I loved it! Service was fantastic! Lisa told us to seat ourselves anywhere as soon as we walked in. She brought us over menus and took our drink order right away. My pattimelt and onion rings we very tasty. I had a coke and my husband had a coffee. All around great experience! Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The biscuit and gravy were very good and huge. I didn’t care for the chicken fried steak at all. My husband are half of mine. It had a funny taste to me. The place also look very dirt to me. It kind of made my stomach turn a little. Sorry, I really wanted to like it. I wouldn’t want to come back. Came to dine in for some lunch with my 5 year old son. Ordered my sons food and my food. Took quite a while for us to get our food. Saw many people finish their food and saw quite a few tables cleaned/cleared off before we were served. My mom is in love with the reuben sandwich at the horseshoe Cafe. So that's what I ordered for myself, with a side of onion rings. My son was on a rant about a grill cheese with bacon inside, with a side of fries. My son got a couple fries in and one bite of his sandwich. He hardly ate much of his food really, before I had the urge to go to the bathroom. I set some money on the table, so that it wouldn't appear that we left without paying. Took my son with me to the bathroom. We were away from the table no more the 5 minutes tops. When we came back out. The table was cleared. And cleaned off. I asked the woman who served us (didn't know her name for she wasn't wearing a name tag) what happened with the food cause we only got up to go to the bathroom. And I explained I didn't want it to look like we just took off without paying. I saw that the server was quite upset. She offered to make a new sandwich. And my son was already quite upset over his food being gone. I could've stayed and had a new sandwich made for my son. But while he was crying and upset. I chose to just get my change from the server, tipped her and left. It was a frustrating situation. My son has been on a rant since we left about how his food was taken away. I wish our server was more observant cause if she had my son could've enjoyed his meal. But instead the server assumed we just left and over tipped. My sons plate was mostly full when we went to the bathroom. And it went straight to the trashcan the second we left to go to the bathroom. Don’t go here if you ain’t hungry - at least don’t order the biscuits and gravy - and certainly don’t order a “full order.” I ordered a half order and it was huge. I have no idea who eats a whole order. It was good though. Lots of atmosphere- authentic sort, not the kitschy tourist type. I also came here because the owner told the government to stick it during the COVID scamdemic and stayed open.
This is my breakfast stop while doing driver training from N.W. Phoenix. The food is great, we love the omelets The staff and customers are very friendly. The next time I'm taking pictures, the decor is rustic western perfect for Wickenburg, it's small so get their early. I had to go back again to get some great pictures. I had the boss and wait staff outside for a phot op. Enjoy. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Biscuit and Sausage Gravy

Rode up from Tempe to eat here. Was not disappointed. Small town breakfast Cafe with 100% authentic feel. Superfast friendly service and home cooking like you're at granny's. Huge portions. Biggest pancake I've ever had. Will stop again! Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20
I had the breakfast burrito which was really good! The girls had a breakfast sandwich and the 2egg n meat breakfast.. all pretty good but the tater tots were hard and very dry. Overall good people there, decent food and interesting ambiance! The service was super fast too but it wasn't real busy.. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20
