My hiking partner and I had a wonderful dinner here. I had tried brisket once before (in Austin, TX) but had been less than impressed. The brisket here, however, was phenomenal - melt in your mouth, cut-with-a-fork tender and delicious. The cornbread was great a well. All of this with excellent service in a nice, casual atmosphere and a fire outside. Do yourself a favor and head out this way! What a gem of a place! Stopped by for a beer before heading back to Portland and had some of the BEST bbq—the meat was so tender that I didn’t need a knife. Everything was homemade! The beers were great, too! Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes BBQ Meal
