My 1st coming here and my friend visited several times. I was impressed. Wonderful fresh food, a great and friendly atmosphere, and a very friendly server, Lauren. I love her. She was so nice and funny. I had the French Toast Sammy, which did not need any syrup with a Peachy & a Frosted Mimosa. She had the Vegan Hash and Advacado toast with the same drinks. Both looked and tasted delicious. We'll be back so I can try something else. This place has been on my list to try for a while. We came in to try the breakfast, which had a variety of different options. Our server, Lauren, was perfect in recommending the right type of drinks to start our breakfast date off. I started with a lavender mimosa that had me a little tipsy in a good way. For an appetizer, we tried the apple cinnamon roll different and yummy. For my entree, I had the Countryside Benny who came all the way through. The pork tenderloin was very juicy and soaked up good with the sausage gravy, biscuits, and eggs. Their potatoes hash was good and different with the tomatoes based mixed in. I really enjoyed my breakfast here. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I came here on a Saturday night. Good atmosphere and great service. Interesting menu options . We tried the poutine to start and then we went with the yard bird and the shrimp and grits. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Made a last-minute decision to drive forty miles to try this place out for the first time. The food was savory and delicious. I had the Countryside Benny, which is a buttermilk biscuit topped with pork tenderloin, sausage, and gravy, with sunny side up eggs. The gravy was a little thin. The premium side of honey peppered thick cut bacon was wonderful. My wife had the pancakes with scrambled eggs and home fries. She didn't care for the seasoning on the home fries, and they also arrived cold, but we didn't mention it. Pepsi only products and their soda machine mix was flat. The manager comped our drinks. Our server, George, provided excellent service. We even picked up some cinnamon buns to take home. We'll be back. If you make reservations online, they are on Toast. They haven't updated the website yet. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The food here was outstanding! We were bummed we tried it on our last day visiting Belmont but it was amazing! We had a large group 7 people on a Saturday morning but we were seated right away which was awesome! Our server was very attentive and did a great job. The atmosphere is cute and welcoming. This restaurant does not have a cook they truly have chefs!! One great thing I noticed off the bat was all the gluten free options which is great for us because my husband has an allergy to it. We ordered French toast, chocolate chip pancakes, corned egg hash with eggs and gluten free toast, avocado toast (which my father in law raved about) waffle with fruit and eggs bacon and grits and I had a special chicken and a biscuit. It was a wonderful meal we all throughly enjoyed!! Thank you honeycomb for giving us a meal to remember!! Went for Sunday brunch, Lauren was an amazing server she stopped to check on us very often. I love the front of the restaurant, the atmosphere was beautiful and I love the natural sunlight coming into the front. We sat at a two person table in the front and there was plenty of space in between the tables. I recommend the Feelin' Peachy mimosa if you're into Peach and Lavender. The Waffle and hot Honey Chicken was just as good as I seen on TikTok. The Hot Honey Chicken was so flavorful especially when you mix it with the maple syrup. Definitely am going back again to try the french toast very soon. By the way, there is a big lot right next to the restaurant for free public parking, no stress when it comes to parking. My fiancé and I made reservations & ate here for Valentine's Day. This was our first time in the area and at the cafe. This cafe is in such a cute spot with ample parking behind the building (something I'm not used to in downtown Charlotte lol). The appetizers were amazing, but unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture :( In any case, the main courses were amazing as well. I thoroughly enjoyed my grouper, while my fiancé really loved his filet mignon. Both deserts left something to be desired, as well as one of the Valentine's Day drinks. But really, those were my only gripes! The atmosphere was great, service was great. We will definitely be back! Great experience here at Honeycomb. The atmosphere was nice and quaint, the service was really good, and the staff were very inviting and nice. The food was really good, my only take away was that the eggs could use some seasoning to really take the dishes thsy contain eggs to another level. I am a food critic so I am a little critical with food, so know that this isn't something that would deter me from returning. The food was actually really Good, great portions, I left full and I will be returning to try more items on the menu. Great job Honeycomb. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Went there for a late Sunday brunch, and as luck would have it, we had to wait. The good part is we got seated before our wait time ended, lucky us. Anyway, our server was very pleasant and had the best suggestions for meals. I tried their strawberry, and marg was good & Tammy Sue was a bit on tart side gin based cocktail, and my partner's sweet tea was good, too. For food I ordered and highly suggested winter toast, which was on the lines of eggs, Benedict and his meal were early birds, which he really enjoyed. The food was hot and fresh. Will definitely be back. Rr was clean, but the flush needs attention. Also, parking can be iffy. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
