Came here for lunch with my folks and we were all overall pleased with the experience. The best part? The portions were big! I was expecting a couple regular sized flautas but got 3 super long ones which seemed to equal like 6 small regular ones. It was more than enough for me. My dad absolutely loved his carne asada fries which were an appetizer but the serving was huge and he didn’t even finish it. My mama enjoyed her quesadilla as well. The worst part? My only real complaint was about my drink and the dessert. My dad and I ordered an agua de tamarindo (tamarin drink) but it wasn’t fresh like they typically are. It was just a powdered mix and that’s not common for Mexican restaurants. Even though the atmosphere was more on the “High-End American” side, the food was pretty authentic so I was disappointed to see the drink was not authentic so we both didn’t ask for a refill because of it. We also wanted a slice of tres leches but it was $10 and that seemed way overpriced. Other than that though, it was a good experience and we’d consider coming back! I do have to give credit to them too for making a special order when we asked for “chilles toreados” which is grilled jalapeños. That was super nice of them.
