Wasn’t sure what to expect when we came here all I know is that they were quite busy, actually I almost walked in the coffee shop which was next door to Hommage Bakery, it was a bit confusing but if you are looking at the establishment Hommage feat. Lucky Bolt is on the left and the coffee shop on the right, grab your coffee at the shop and pastries (Hommage), meal prep and lunch at Bolt. Ordered- Apricot Kouign-Amann (bussin) and some sort of a Hot pocket which was ok to say the least, I expected a pastry dough but it wasn’t nonetheless, the flavor was there. Give them a try if you’re in the area!

Hommage Bakehouse is presently in the process of an internal restructuring. Consequently, our team has opted to temporarily suspend the sale of bread and pastries at our Sorrento Valley location, in order to prioritize production at this facility for the time being. We continue to welcome online pre-orders, provided they are placed with a minimum of 48 hours' notice. Please note that your ordered items are to be collected from our store, as usual.

Nice little bakery with a good amount of choices. I ordered the chocolate croissant which was pretty tasty. It's not a ton of chocolate in the croissant which doesn't make is as heavy to eat. Get there early for more choices cause they go quick.

Breakfast sandwich, croissant, monkey bread and Kouign aman were DIVINE. I can't stop thinking about that flaky buttery perfection! Oh and the seeded baguette was excellent too.
The staff are kind and helpful, and added to the experience.
Thinking about going again already... :)

Finally a bakery nearby with perfect Kouign Amann! I am so glad Lucky Bolt kitchen and bakery partnered with Hommage Bakery to make this comfy cafe with amazing French pastries (the plain and Lemon-Earl grey custard filled Kouign Amann, and the croissants, were to die for - flaky, puffy, awesomeness), farm to table ingredients in their salads and sandwiches, local eggs and strawberry jam. We will be back!

Small bakery with great pastries and variety of breads. The quiche was okay, but the pies, croissant, and savory breads were really tasty!

Such an amazing bakery. The staff and hospitality is top notch and the croissants are to die for. This is worth going out of your way to make a trip to Hommage.

So fricken tasty! I was visiting San Diego and came across Hommage Bakehouse for a quick breakfast. The chocolate croissant was to die for and the sandwich were made really well. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought process into each baked good. I will definitely be back for more goodies when I’m visiting San Diego next time!
