Fried pickles today were to salty way salty. All you could taste and breading a little heavy. Only thing I can really complain about. Food is usually tasty and waitresses are always very nice. I do recommend eating here. Especially if you like home cooked food over fast food. Give them a try.

Food and service was great. Only reason didn’t give 5 stars is because French fries looked and tasted like been refried. Country fried chicken was chewy maybe need to cook some more. Would go back though. Was very good and welcoming.
Feels like home eating here. My parents eat here a lot, and when I’m in town I like to eat here as well. Great café food, I love the chicken and dumplings and the catfish as well. Great choice for a sit-down restaurant style cafe

while having dinner at this establishment tonight I went to pay for my family's meals I saw an employee who was hatless I reckon because of being bald no hat covering is required but he was literally eating food with his gloves on that went to his mouth and then he also made to go orders with the same gloves on I was completely shocked to of witnessed this as I've been coming here for awhil I just can't believe if you are in the food business that eating with the same gloves you are fixing customers food with isn't common sense for cross contamination it was huge turn off even though our food was good establishment was clean and our waitress was attentive I'm not sure if I'll be able to return after seeing that

Great little place in Franklinton.
Super friendly wait stuff and the owner works the floor. Saw him bussing tables, filling coffee and taking orders.
I had the Western omelet with hash browns a biscuit and gravy. Very good lots, of cheese.
