I don't know what they put in their chocolate pie but it's gotta be illegal to be this addictive, wow. That's all I can say is wow. I'm so proud that this is a piece of Iowa!

The customer service here is second-to-none. I arrived within a few minutes of opening and already they were almost sold out of so many options (this is a popular place!). I got a flight of 4 mini pies (strawberry, Dutch letter, custard, and cherry). They're adorable and very tasty. Nothing to complain about here, but arrive early for the best selection!

French silk was my favorite. I love how you just walk in and instantly feel like you’re in their home kitchen, very home like atmosphere.

I've known Laura for close to 15 years, and had not seen her in close to 12 years! She seriously had this little secret up her sleeve this incredible talent for pie baking!
My husband and I were on our way home from some friends outside of Chicago and I had emailed Laura to see if she'd bake me a couple pies since we'd be passing through, and even on her day off she did this for me.
I asked for her Blueberry Crumble and Apple pie! Oh my gosh these pies are absolutely amazing. The Blueberry Crumble just got tastier with every bite, the lemon undertone just made each bite even better. Then, the apple, the cinnamon flavor just literally made each bite of apple burst into your mouth with flavor.
Do yourself a favor, run don't walk to Home Slice Hand Made Pies!
