Had fun with the family
My son's first time bowling. He had a blast. They had 6lb balls behind the desk and the toddler bowling ramps on the side. Bumpers were up. Shoes were old and literally fling apart. Almost tripped walking up to bowl as the trim is all broken from carpet to wood. At 1030am in a Saturday no one was there so it was nice. Service was excellent and probably the best thing about the place. The front desk person was great and the food service lady came to ask us what we wanted. Couldn't ask for better service from people.
I love this place!!!

Clean bowling center. Gold Dust West always smells like there’s a sewer problem. I have noticed that the owner of this Bowling Center is a bit stuck up and expects all bowlers to know everything about the alley especially if they’re new bowlers. He doesn’t seem happy to deal with new people. I haven’t been here since it has been bought out. Would be nice if he presented himself as if he loves what he does. Gold Dust has better lanes, this one - it seems as if the boards were shifted and uneven. All in all, I love the environment when out on the floor. Dollar bowl nights at GDW were great to get the family out but unfortunately these days bowling’s become so expensive. It’s hard to compare the two but they both have they’re good and bad.
Home Grown Bowl is great thanks to the owners Danny and Jennifer. The lanes, pro shop, grill, and bar are awesome. I would suggest everyone from beginners to league bowlers to go see Danny for your equipment needs. Thank you for you commitment to the community. 👏👏
