It's been awhile since I've eaten at Holy Cow, but I've always had a great experience. Today was even better since there are NEW (at least to me) menus- and fries or tots are now included in the price of the burger-no more ordering the sides separately. Also, no more extra charge for a side of ranch! Food was delicious and service was great! Appreciative of the menu changes! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The mac & cheese egg rolls are phenomenal. I would go there again just for that, so yummy. Nom nom.. I'm glad I tried them. They have this cute little gift shop area with some cute Idaho gift ideas. The restaurant was super clean and the staff were friendly. The fish tacos were very good. You only get two Tacos per serving, but the fish and the sauce were very good. The hamburger was good, but it was just a hamburger nothing special. I did only order the classic one though. The fries were super yummy and would definitely get those again. Overall a great place to try/eat. I will definitely go back there again. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

It was just OK. With all the talk surrounding Holy Cow, I had pretty high expectations, especially considering the prices. Everything on the menu sounded delicious and well-crafted. The burgers are made from locally sourced wagyu. I landed on the Rude Boi Burger (1/2 pound beef patty, charred jalapeno, house made pimento cheese, bacon, roasted jalapeno aioli on a toasted brioche bun, $17.50). I wasn't asked how done I wanted it cooked, and I should have made a comment because this sammy was dry af. Even in the very middle. The meat was definitely high quality and it probably would have been a delicious burger if it was cooked to my liking. The jalapenos delivered zero heat. I didn't hate it, but it was just an ordinary burger. It was very good dipped in fry sauce. The fries were good but nothing extraordinary. My husband ordered the Sam Elliot, which came with pulled pork and bacon, American and cheddar cheese, BBQ Sauce and "cowboy" mayo ($18.00). When I asked how it was, he said, "Meh." He, too, would rather have been asked how done he'd like it cooked. The service was pretty good! Our service did ask how everything tasted to which I responded, "It's alright." She took the time to ask about my concerns and I appreciated that! I suggested they consider how doneness can really make or break a burger and kindly ask their patrons. She was incredibly receptive to the feedback and said she'd take it to the chef. :) It'll be a while before I return but I believe I will. Everyone deserves second chances and I would love to come back in a few months ready for a five star review! Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Had the Sam Elliott. The burger was amazing. The fries had the perfect crunch. Went with coworkers, and we each had something different. We each loved our burgers. We also tried the mac and cheese egg rolls. They were very good, just the right amount of crunch to the cheesy goodness inside. Would highly recommend a Holy Cow Idaho! ***Apparently this business is closing Ict 2023 - I stopped in early afternoon after seeing some rave reviews of Holy Cow. I really wanted to love this place but found it pretty average. I ordered the Sawtooth Steak Melt ($18) which looked great and had nice flavor. The steak was a solid gray and some pieces were pretty chewy. The fries were nicely seasoned. The Strawberry and White Pepper Margarita ($11 or $12) was a disappointment. The description indicated there was a pepper syrup in it but I didn’t get any pepper or spice notes. It tasted like a mild strawberry margarita. In retrospect Holy Cow seems more geared to beer than cocktails. The service was outstanding but there were only 2-3 customers. I don’t mind paying for good food but I felt the food was average at best and a little overpriced. The restaurant interior was nondescript but there was a nice little patio. I love supporting local businesses but there was nothing that stood out that would make me want to return. The reality is that there are other similarly priced restaurants that have better food and cocktails.

I always come, I am normally driving though and have to wait a hour or so till they open. Great food I can't say that enough. And their mech is good that you find yourself buying one or two items. I try to generally time it with the farmers market as it gives you a way to mull around till they open. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
If you like fried pickles this is the place to go! Hands down the best fried pickles we've ever had! And the burgers were amazing as well! Now I just wish we had one in Idaho Falls so I didn't have to only eat here when we're in the Boise area. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I tried the Same Elliott burger. It was great. Most cheese burgers that have bacon, have very poor quality bacon, but this burger has great bacon and some pulled pork to boot. I found that the quantity of meat was not too overwhelming; it was a well balanced burger. It has thousand Island and pickle on the side. I included the pickle. I added a small amount of the thousand Island, but the burger is pretty juicy without. I had the tots rather than the fries for a change from the ordinary. The tots were perfect. I only use catchup if the food is horrible. I certainly didn't need catch-up for these. I would recommend the Holy Cow. I got the burger as a takeout. They were very fast. Cool place! This is not like your traditional burger join, yet it is still just as good. Creative menu with some really good burgers. I recommend trying the Sam Elliott burger, though everything is good. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Sam Elliott

Great burgers! All waygu beef. Highly recommend the tots. Crispy all the way through without being hard/burned. The fry sauce was great. Had a nice tang to it, didn't taste like plain thousand island. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes The Holy Cow
