As someone who doesn't eat red meat, I'm loving the lenten specials! I first tried the new veggie quesadilla 2 weeks ago and plan to return every Friday as long as it's offered, just to get it. The vegetable combination, the addition of avocado, the amount of filling, the perfect amount of crispness on the tortilla, the generous portion size... I'd be thrilled if it stayed in the menu beyond Lent. My husband got the Mahi sandwich for the 2nd week. He liked that it was broiled rather than fried and said the fish was very good. He thought the sandwich was a bit dry, but our server was happy to bring some tartar sauce. I was so impressed with the quality of my meal. I requested medium rare burger and I can honestly say this burger is the best I have ever had eating out! The quality of beef outstanding and was made perfectly as requested. My server McKenzie was so up beat, bubbly, friendly, positive, was very confident in her position. Great restaurant. Awesome cheerful service, with very, very good food. Everything we tried was delicious. That's a hard thing to say in this day and age. Soup was great, burger was juicy and cooked perfect, even the appetizer platter was tasty.. we will definitely be coming back here. If you have a choice between anywhere else and Holly's...
