Came here after having a horrible experience at the Asian cafe and grill hint hint save yourself some misery and just come here. This was such a fantastic experience I gave our waitress a 20$ tip she was so great I was so caught up in my bad experience that I didn't even get her name anyways the food was great the everything was just perfect. Service was great. Our main dishes were amazing. The only thing that was “okay/decent” was the calamari that we ordered as an appetizer. My husband said that you could tell that it was frozen prior to serving since it had the unusual “fishy” taste (and he has been spoiled with the best of the best when it comes to sea food, since he grew up next to the ocean). My husband had the World’s Best Spicy Brisket Sandwich, and I had the Cod fish and chips, which were both great. My 13 month old son had the Dino chicken nuggets and fries which he didn’t complain about. He loved it. Overall, I give it 5/5 and we will be back. Gem of a place, my wife and I stopped here before running some errands, from start to finish it was well worth stopping and a 5-star review. Our server (Janese, sorry if I spelled that wrong) was just as much a highlight as our food was, so attentive and cheerful!! We had the fish & chips and the smoked wings...thank the lord I found a place that actually smokes the stuff they say is smoked in the area!!! I'm a fan. The name made no sense until I realized it's a smokehouse and seafood restaurant! Naturally I needed to try both, so I got the cod and ribs dinner. Both were excellent; the ribs came with BBQ sauce but I liked them better without it. I have always liked ketchup on fried fish, and I missing having any (one of my few, minor nitpicks). My wife's fried catfish had a seasoning in the batter that made it also delicious with no condiments. I enjoyed the potato salad (? - not sure that's what the menu called it) and the baked beans. The coleslaw, not so much. I will mention that there was a weird breakdown in service right as we finished our meal. We were ready to get going and had finished all food and drink, and then our waitress disappeared for over 20 minutes, and even then had to be flagged so we could get our check. It wasn't due to being too busy, so it was weird and the only real knock on an almost-perfect visit. BTW - they have a good beer selection, and we really enjoyed the 25-oz 1554s. Great, casual restaurant/sports bar. Quick and friendly service. Had jalapeño poppers and calamari for appetizers. Ribs, fried cod and shrimp all delicious. Cole slaw and beans were great sides. Large selection of drinks with many beers on tap. Will return

If I could give this place 6 stars I would. Definitely a good place to eat both my wife and I love this place. Best of both worlds Seafood and Barbecue. We live a few hours away from this place but make it a point to stop here whenever we are passing by on I-25 in Colorado. Staff is ALWAYS friendly! My favorite is the Brisket!!!! Delicious, this place was awesome I had the fish and chips, hush puppies and margaritas; first time here and went with some friends. Our lovely server Deja was fantastic and kept our drinks full and never skipped a beat. I would definitely recommend this place you can tell the owner is passionate about quality food and service. Hands down the best fish and chips I have ever eaten! We googled some place to have lunch, we just enjoy visiting places we have never been as long as they have good reviews and this place did. Monica seated us and we were served out drinks quickly. Having never been there we asked what she recommended. The first thing she bragged about was the fish and chips and to my husband's surprise that that's what I ordered. So he got the fish and shrimp combo. The fish was very flaky and the crust, I can't say enough about the crust on that fish, it was a crunchy, melt in your mouth deliciousness. The second thing she recommended was their fries and they didn't let us down either. The fries had a little batter on the just very light and they were super crispy. Monica was very nice, and we even got to meet the chef/owner, Brent, who was afraid to share his breading tricks with us. It's a 45 minute drive from where we are now but we will go back, and soon. There are a lot of interesting dishes on the menu that we can't wait to try. Thank you so much for a wonderful lunch in a great atmosphere!
