I think I tried enough items from Hoffman to give a well rounded review. The place is really good but there's better coffee and pastry places in this area. Coffee was good but I haven't found better coffee than soul coffee house in Redmond area. The coconut Macron was bit too sweet IMO. Other items were okay. Service is good - good folks and nice ambience. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Honestly the prices for their pastries are pretty solid. The only one I was disappointed in, was their cinnamon roll. Just didn’t have enough cinnamon or icing (but then again I like everything a little sweeter). The dough was more like a wheat based dough. So that might’ve been different. I am going to give them a 1 star review to hopefully catch their attention! I want to talk about PRESENTATION! Because food is not only about taste, it’s also about how you present it! I enjoy their pastries, we buy very often from them… my wife usually… but today, I went and bought a lot of stuff from them, for someone important to me, so the quality and taste of their product wasn’t enough for me today, PRESENTATION was also extremely/equally important! From the beginning I didn’t like the attitude of the lady that helped me. She started packing every item in small boxes! I didn’t like that. My idea was to have everything in one big box, so I can put it on the table and open it up so you can see all the beautiful little cakes and choose the one or the ones you like. I asked for a big box so I can go home and arrange everything the way I wanted and I even pointed to the box I wanted… Guess what? She didn’t want to give it to me, she said: “these are for our cakes only!” Oh, seriously? Well, what did I buy? Did I buy my own cakes from home?😂 As someone that grew up in Europe, presentation is VERY IMPORTANT! Hoffman, work on your presentation! Even your bags are so basic, even Home Depot has personalized bags and packaging! You guys have such good products. It is such a shame that you ruin everything with the way you present it… And why not give me a box? You may have lost my business because of that one bag… Please see the picture… Hoffman’s everybody… appetizing, isn’t it?😂

I can’t decide what’s wrong with the picture. The $119.95 they charge for a 9” long, recklessly decorated yule log cake, or Mrs Grumpypants who should have better manners with customers because, I don’t know, we pay to clear our own table? As a passionate food enthusiast, I visited the Hoffman’s today. The bakery had assortments of muffins and cakes that caught my eye. So I tried corn flavored jalapeños muffin, chocolate croissants and veggie sandwich. Muffin was moist and had pinch of spicy flavor. That was completely new taste that I loved it. They have plenty of options for cake and pastries.
