Ask any local from Quy Nhơn and they will recommend Hoa Hoa as the go-to restaurant for seafood. We ordered 3 dishes for 4 people and the food was plentiful. Our favorite is definitely the Deep-fried Whole Grouper with Tamarind Sauce. The outside is crispy and the inside is still moist, flaky. The tamarind sauce is to die for and when you combine that with all the fresh vegetables, rice wrapper, punchy dipping sauce, everything comes together so well. It was a pretty bad experience eating seafood here, the dishes here are not nearly as fresh and delicious as the reviews say. The price of the food here is quite high but what we got was dead seafood and a very unpleasant smell. The owner is very enthusiastic in advising customers to choose the restaurant's worst dishes. This is the worst experience I've ever had. Please consider carefully before coming to eat seafood here. The owner was very friendly and supportive. Tasty and affordable seafood dishes. A must try local culinary experience in Quy Nhon. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person ₫200,000–300,000
Quite authentic with local style, nothing fancy, only good quality and friendly. The specialty here is jerry hot pot which is very tasty, 100% authentic, crunchy jerry, sweetness of the soup, complex artefacts from peanut, garlic, coconut, veggies, mango… oh my god. I love it. The portion for two is small enough, no stress ha ha. Last but not least, organic desert. Nice price and great local view. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person ₫400,000–500,000

Highly recommended seafood restaurant on this area. Quick service, clean and many choice of good taste seafoods. Reasonable price. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person ₫1,000,000+
We had sumptuous hotpot lunch here and the food was great! Got full big time! Very delicious. Needs improvement in the cleanliness though. Overall it’s a good place to have fresh seafoods here.

Great food. Not much English but really helpful staff. Isopods are on the menu. Not sure they belong in the fridge but that is just me. Great fresh seafood. Also normal rice dishes. Throw beer cans under the table to blend in. Really cool experience. Will go again if I have a chance!

This was recommended by the hotel staff at anatara as one of the best local seafood places in Quy Nhon. It's a very local place and we seemed to be the only foreigners there. The grilled oysters were delicious. We also ordered the tamarind crab and steamed fish. They forgot our vegetables. Overall the seafood was very fresh though I managed to catch a large rat scurrying across the restaurant. It's an outdoor location by the water so I'm not surprised to have seen that.
A surprisingly outstanding snail restaurant, I actually visit this shop 3 years ago and now the quality still there the same 👍. With 100k per person is freaking great price and the dishes is very good too, I'm 100% can not any better snail than this at this price even I'm a snail lover. Please any foreigner scared of snail, this isn't the snail in the garden, it's a kind of seafood and it's always good to try in beach area of Vietnam. I think every 99.99% Vietnamese have tried snail in their life so please don't be scare. This restaurant is my absolute go to restaurant in Quy Nhon. Really delicious and fresh seafood! If you're looking to try some of the local delicacies this is the place to come. They're a bit spendy, but you certainly get what you pay for! We tried the prawns which are huge and absolutely amazing, full of flavor and simply grilled 😁 also had the jellyfish salad and rau muong with garlic, and the other night we had the steamed squid and scallops and also some more rau muong with garlic haha.
