They closed other branch near cell card then moved here. Awesome for spacious area more comfy even for outdoor tables.
Alrite, after a century, hasn't come to HKB as another branch at Aeon Mall Phnom Penh. We order:
- laksa
-claypot noodle
- charsiu noodle
Laksa has 2 options, small or big , and then choose a small portion that massive size (for me).
Each food average around $4.5 @,$ drinks $1.5 apart of this had small corner for Malaysia food brands: Maggi, instant ingredients, snacks and many more.

Wide array of Malaysian cuisines but none executed well..
Nasi Lemak rice was lumpy and wet. The egg, chilli, ikan bilis and prawns were decent.
Char Kway Teow has a nice wok hei flavor but that was about it - too dry and poorly seasoned.
Best Malaysian food in Phnom penh. Especially Nasilemak chicken so crispy and fresh. I like chilli sauce too.
Best coffee taste! You should try ice coffee in HKB.

Had a craving for ban mi since almost 2years as i had not been able to fly back home and found this place.... Lots of non locals in the shop, buzzing place like you would see in MY and they segregate smoking and smoking areas which was really plus for me. First entered, not sure was her bad day or what but i was greeted in unhappy irritated skinny chinese speaking lady. It was my first time so i was hoping to be greeted and seated to a menu but instead of that, i was asked what i wanted and takeaway? I was shocked to be frank... I ended up sat down after ordering... I guess they treat people differently on how they dress... Noodles was kind of soggy but soup and the chilli were super good. Price is reasonable i would say if you want a taste of home, i would recommend this place but remember to dress smart so to be served better. KopiPeng was good as i asked for less sweet and it was and served like those in MY/SG. Thank you again for the taste of home. You could hear guests speaking in malay, dialects and mixed... So much like home...
Less 1star for the not so welcoming customer service.
Suitable for casual dining. Their dry mee hun kueh has been improved tremendously over this one year. Ikan bilis is crispy and fragrant. The spiciness is just right for me. Definitely it's a must try food.
More add on:
The taste is not consistent, either too salty (my tolerance level towards salt is quite high, but this is overly seasoned), or ikan bilis is too hard. The minced meat is seasoned, sliced pork is also seasoned. (Which usually is not supposed to be seasoned).
I hope this can be improved.

First time to the restaurant after hearing word-of-mouth reviews. Authentic Malaysian dishes. We had Bak Kuk Teh, Sweet & Sour fish fillet rice set and long-bean vegetables. They even have home brewed barley drink. Prices are reasonable and the place relatively clean. Will patronize the restaurant again!
Food is tasty but portions are quite small given the price charged. Staff is friendly and quick but the restaurant lacks a bit of atmosphere.
