Huge fan of High St. Hope House!! Such an awesome atmosphere and perfect place to just unwind and relax! They have so much on the menu and the fernet bottles up above the bar are all signed by people who completed them! This place is perfect for the people in the bar scene industry or those who just love to relax with the bartenders and listen to some music!! Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
One of the best bars in Akron. It's basically 3 bars in one, all with different vibes depending on what you want for the evening! The bartenders have always been kind and quick and the prices are fair! Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

High St. Hop House is my go-to spot for cocktails and beer. The bartenders, Emily and the rest of the crew, are the best in town. They're always up for a challenge, and they can make a drink out of anything. I usually stick to my traditional Jack and Coke, but with all the whiskey and bourbon selections on their wall, it's hard not to get creative. The bar is more geared towards the college nightlife, so it can get pretty noisy on weekend nights. But I'm getting older, and that's not really my scene anymore. So I've started going earlier in the evening, when it's less crowded. They also have a great beer list with seasonal beers to choose from. And even though they don't have food, you can order from Totally Baked Pizza next door and eat it at the bar. The pizza is delicious, and it's the perfect way to soak up the alcohol. Overall, I highly recommend High St. Hop House to anyone looking for a great drink and a fun atmosphere. Just be prepared to shout your order over the music on the weekends. Price per person $1–10 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Stopped in last night for the first time (10/27). The bartender was completely trashed and was berating customers who were simply trying to order a drink. It was so astonishing that I thought we were all on candid camera. The place looks nice, but the service was horrifying. Will never come back. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
