After a long walk around The Petaluma Library Museum, visit this bar and have a rest here. Many visitors note that you can drink good beer at Hideaway. That is one funky but adorable place where people can dance, share a drink or simply relax an listen to a local band. As soon as you enter, you ding yourself in between times, the 20’s, the 80’s millennium, all epochs, all generations are there, here, everywhere around you.. nobody judges, nobody stresses, people are just being themselves. Dive in!

I was refused entry (I was told the three white men who entered right in front of me were the last entries of the night. This was at 1:05am or so). I then watched the bouncers let more white men into the bar 5 minutes later from down the street. It can be hard to know when you're being discriminated against, but it felt that way. (I'm trans). (Maybe they were going back inside after having left?? Idk..)
