Simple menu with high quality and unique meal adaptations. Also has great beers and very nice atmosphere with an additional enclosed patio open all year. One of the favorite restaurants of Hermitage. The staff makes you feel like you're known and are very attentive. This place is just an all around great go to restaurant. Place was packed for a Monday lunch...so I knew I pulled into something grand. Felt a little ignored when waiting for a table, but like I said....was very busy. We had a birthday dinner here and all I can say is the service was awesome and the food selection was great. To my surprise when I asked for dessert, they just brought a plate over that had all of them on it for the night. It was very very cool. We had the Sweet and spicy cauliflower, pretzel mozzarella sticks for appetizers. The beer selections are good and for dinner we had hamburgers, barbecue, ribs, salads and more. Portions are very flavorful and fall off the bone cooked right meat. Thank you, hickory bar and grill!! The Sunriser Burger was delicious. The patty was thick , juicy, and cooked to perfection. There was a nice char on the outside which elevated the flavors of the entire burger. The burger arrived with an unbroken egg yolk so I got the experience of breaking the yolk all over the burger. Always a treat! The Zucchini Fries were delicious. Great batter. The food is good, a little bit more expensive for what you get. Their selection on the menu is not that broad if you're trying to be healthy conscious. You are limited to a salad generally. They do have rotating specials and featured drinks for the season so that's a nice thing. Recommend for a group gathering, as they have a private dining area.
