First time i visited this place was right after helping a friend move in nearby. After walking up to the bar counter we made our order, my friend asked for the cheapest cider and got the most angry, judgemental, disapproving and quite honestly hostile look i've ever seen coming from anyone other than my mother after telling her my final grades after exams in high school. This, of course, immediately scared my friend and we both agreed that this place was great and that we will absolutely come back more times. Can't recommend it enough GO HERE!! Oh the food seemed good too, If you're into that. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Decent food, good beer, lovely and afficient staff. The schnitzel may not be the best schnitzel in Gothenburg, but it is definitely the best in its pricerange. Combined with thick fries it does make you feel like you are in The Netherlands. Deffenetly a place I recommend to all who are are hungry and want to eat at a pub as well as those longing for a good lager. After having lived abroad in Copenhagen for a while, I really started to miss having some Dutch food. Together with some of my Dutch friends who live in Göteborg, we decided to go to Het Amsterdammetje. Truly an authentic Dutch experience a la 'buine stamkroeg'. Came there just for a drink, didn’t eat. I can say that drinks are good and not expensive (for example, we paid around 70kr for Belgium beer what is fantastic). 4 stars is for the interior around, that place is nice, but can be a bit renovated and better organised for people to spend time inside. The gritty indoor seating of this local pub is perfect for just enjoying a cold lager/IPA on tap. Staff is very friendly, greeting and treating it's customers in an orderly fashion. The "no fuzz bar" with a good selection of Belgian and Dutch beer.

Iconic little Dutch place with possibly the best Schnitzel in town. Great place to stop for a beer and cosy atmosphere as well!
