Our new favorite restaurant in the region! Great variety on standard menu and always have a nice selection of specials. When the weather warms it is nice to sit near the open store front. We really enjoyed the atmosphere at Heritage! Edward, Wendy and their team made for an enjoyable experience in a beautiful, warm and engaging environment. The drinks and appetizers were great…who would’ve thought peanut butter would make for an amazing dip for our pretzel!?🥨 The Tuna and plantain chips, fresh and crisp! We’ll definitely be back! My wife and I stopped in for dinner Friday night. The atmosphere was fantastic and the lady who served us was very friendly. We got the Buffalo Shrimp appetizer, and it was really good. That’s where the good part of our evening ended. After a while our server came out to let us know that while she thought our food would be ready by now, she actually forgot to send the order in their system. When we got our food it looked fantastic, but it wasn’t. I had the fish and chips; the fish had a nice flaky crust but was undercooked on the inside. I was underwhelmed with the chips, I expected the food to be much better based on the review but the chips were as disappointing as the fish. They were frozen fries from a big box store. My wife had as bad an experience as I, with the fried chicken. After finding a hair in her first piece, she set it down and moved to the next piece. By the look on her face I could tell she didn’t like it. I asked her if it was ok and she said it didn’t have any flavor. I tasted a piece and I can say the only flavor it had was the undercooked Bisquick they used to batter the chicken.
