this ka-joint used to be the -ish back in 2008. It took a turn for the worse, but has been under new management for the last couple of years. There are some new fittings here and there; a sort of lounge space by the entrance. They seem to have regular band music, and of course soccer fans will swear by this place for their weekly EPL fix. I personally find it a bit too much, not enough anonymity and I seem to end up running into the wrong kind of crowd. In any case, if you're searching for a pure local joint - look no further. And make sure to show some love to the regulars: Mwalimu N., Njoro.
It's a good place to come chill and relax with friends. The ambience is fine safety guaranteed, prices are fair, the music is cool and they host various artist and karaoke nights.
The ambience is that of a local. The food, service and music are fairly good. Recommended for a person who truly wants to experience a 'local' Kenyan bar.
