Wide open areas with plenty of spots to swim and receptacles for charcoal ash. Plus a restaurant to grab food and a sauna you can become a member of nearby
Cute cafe on Nessoden that has a decent selection of drinks, cakes and food. The interior is beautifully decorated and cozy while outside seating has a fantastic view over the water. It takes a bit of walking to get here if you are using public transport but it's a nice walk. Take note of limited opening hours - weekends only as far as I know. Sunday evenings there are live music shows, tickets can be bought on their website. Absolutely worth a stop for a coffee.
Hellviktangen is a precious pearl on Nesodden. Exceptional food cooked from mainly organic and local ingredients, great cakes, lovely outdoors concerts in the summertime - all of it within a stone's throw from the fjord. We're lucky to have Hellviktangen!!
Very nice old place located with a beautiful view of Oslo.
In summertime you might enjoy the beaches and take a swim. Parts of the beach is safe for children. There's a ramp for wheelchairs into the water (even if it might be slippery, be careful)
The food in the restaurant is organic and well tasting, though the menu has not many courses. You can also buy drinks or sometimes home made ice cream.
In wintertime its a nice place to get in mood for Christmas.
It's also possible to rent the place for events like weddings, partying etc.
