Awesome little bistro located in the downtown library building that started serving a brunch menu today, so we had to try a bit of everything - Mom had the OMG and I did the Farmhouse and the Bourbon Bread Pudding French Toast which was the star of the show! Definitely will be back as I really want to try the BLT Jam and the German style pancakes. They also have a large assortment of pies, cakes, muffins, cookies, smores, rice krispy treats and similar baked goods! Amended to say that Helen reached out to me right away about this. Everything else I have gotten here has been wonderful! I highly recommend. I was looking forward to what’s normally a great lunch place. Ordered the pear salad, which is supposed to have grilled chicken, pear slices, dried cranberries, and glazed pecans. There was no chicken, a tiny amount of the other ingredients on lots of greens, and two croutons. It’s great when Helen is supervising, not so much when she isn’t Service Take out Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My first time trying this place. It wasn't horrible but it also wasn't great, it was just ok in my opinion. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich. It was rather small in size. The cranberry pistachio bread was pretty tasty. The chicken salad itself was a little more on the peppered side than I would've expected but still had good flavor. The grapes gave it a sweetness that blended out the pepper. One note I will add, is that sitting there watching the servers prepare mine and other's meals, is that they weren't wearing gloves. The girl that took my order and my payment just jumped right into the prep line and not once did I see her wash or sanitize her hands. This is kind of a big deal nowadays with everything going on all around us these days. Really think they need to be more captious when handling customers' food.

A nice quiet place to sit down at the library with great food and coffee. Very friendly service with both to-go and eat-in options. I've been here a few times and never been disappointed. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
This is the first time I dined at Helen's. The service was PHENOMENAL! While based on service I would come back, I won't go out of my way to order from here again. I had the Big Cheesy with pesto. It was over done and blackened, not just toasted, on the outside. The bread wasn't quite strong enough to hold in all the fillings. I also got a chocolate croissant that would have been lovely a few days ago but was stale, dry, and difficult to eat. Perhaps there are better things on the menu that I didn't get a taste of. Great service though! Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20
My boyfriend and I love coming here for our weekly lunch dates! Helen and her working crew are always so sweet to us. We love ordering the weekly hot entree and don’t forget the desserts!!! 10/10!! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

Cute little place! Right inside the library. The key lime pie was soooo good! I also really liked “the cure” bagel sandwich! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Omg! Had an amazing experience here! Everything was delicious and I highly recommend The Big Bird sandwich. The service was amazing and everyone was very polite. They even gave my children stickers, haha. Just awesome. Prices are reasonable and their display is great! Will definitely come back again!

I ordered a chicken salad sandwich, a butternut squash soup and a slice of cake, all for a whopping $45! The chicken salad tasted sour and old, the soup was as thick as butter, the cake was meh and it was all overpriced. When we questioned the staff if there were options for chip flavors, we were rudely told “NO! The owner only buys one type of chips.” I also questioned the sour taste of the chicken salad and again was met with a short and rude response by the employee. The customer service here is awful, as is the food, avoid this place! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50
This is a horrible business. Yes they baked good are home made and so is most of there food but not all. Their hamburgers are pre made by a grocery store along with their chicken and chicken salad. Yet they charge you 10 a plate when some of the food is microwaveable. They don't like to pay their employees as they should. Yet want to charge you a arm in a leg you can home cook yourself
