The best grocery chain. Always terrific choices and hand made deli dishes. Some of my favorite sections are the great cheese selection, fresh baked items, fresh fish and butcher counters and wines and beers to satisfy anyone. The Heinens associates in Mentor are top notch also.
I recently decided to try this store again after not going for quite some time, and I was once again disappointed. I will first start with the positive, that they have an excellent meat, produce, and bakery department. They also have an impressive cheese and olive and wine area. My complaints are that they often are out of the same common items, and overprice items that can be found elsewhere at a much lower price. I understand they can charge more for their individual departments because the quality is very high, but other brand goods, such as yogurts, crackers, condiments, sauces, cereal, etc., that aren't unique to them, can be several dollars more than the exact item elsewhere. I will say the staff is super friendly, and the convenience of having assistance, if needed, with unloading groceries in your car is a plus and encouraged.
Overall I prefer to get all my shopping done in one location and probably won't return here again anytime soon, unless I'm just buying for a special occasion.
