Very interesting experience! There was no menu so it’s kind of like an omakase thing. We were given filtered coffee, cold coffee with foam and even some alcohol pairing. The boss roasts the coffee beans himself! He taught us his method of savoring coffee, as well as some life mantra that we’ll keep in our hearts. It’s a humble little space - feels like you’re sitting in your Taiwanese friend’s living room and having a conversation about life over coffee. They have 2 adorable rescued dogs too!

We chanced upon this café at the vicinity of our stay. Both of the owners are very welcoming and friendly. They also raised two cute dogs as well! Owner roasts his own beans, and he will show you how to appreciate coffee, and share his philosophy of life. He was also a former military doctor and actually spent years researching on coffee for medicinal purposes. Do popby this place if you have an opportunity to visit!

Drop Top Coffee
An amazing place where the owner only asks hot or cold then brews the coffee in front of you, over a philosophical exchange.

Bobby, the owner, is a very kind and enlightened man. He makes an exceptional cup of coffee and will have you experience how coffee changes with different foods.
He loves Russian vodka as well and one day I will be back to give him some as a gift.
He lives a life with dignity. Like a dog. His quote. Great philosophy. But only for unfree people. Not for me. If you don’t feel good, no need to change environment. Doesn’t work out for me. Otherwise the doctor would not recommend to visit the forest or the mountains. All in all, stuffed place. Good coffee, clear water. Acidic taste. Not for me. I wish I could give 5 stars. But I am not stingy. At least 2 are in.

很好的地方 !! We met the owner and it was a really good experience! We learnt a lot from this person who introduced us a lot of stuff from the Taiwanese and Asian culture
