The staff was respectful and nice to us as we walked in. We enjoyed our entire breakfast! The ‘Safe Haven’ sandwich was good! The home fries are a chefs kiss. They just started mimosa flights and they were pretty good. Ask for them the next time you show up. It is small and cozy inside. The prices are reasonable as well. I will definitely be back to visit. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Haven's Cafe, and I wanted to share what a delightful experience it was! From the moment we entered, the warm and attentive service combined with the amazing food made our visit truly memorable.I ordered the Waffle platter, and my boyfriend opted for the waffle sandwich. Both dishes were absolutely delicious! However, I must highly recommend the waffle sandwich – it was simply divine. What truly stood out was the exceptional service we received. The staff was incredibly attentive and kind, making us feel truly valued.I sincerely urge you to support this small business and indulge in their outstanding offerings. Heard about this black owned establishment on Facebook and thought we would like to support them. So my fiance and I went there. We we're greeted as we walked in. We ordered from an very extensive menu. I had the loaded French fries and she ordered the BLT. We both ordered the carmel apple latte (cold). The food was amazing, the service was complete and we will definitely tell as many of our friends and family as possible. It was a Great experience. It's definitely a must try and we're going back. This place is a hidden gem for brunch and I am hoping more people come and check them out. The environment is so welcoming, light r&b playing in the background, the owner personally walked us through the menu, and the food and drinks were delicious! I felt like I was in my grandmother’s kitchen while eating. The food was so good I didn’t have time to take pictures. I only have a picture of the empty plate which should tell you something. Try the French Toast Platter when you visit! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Decided to check out the new place on my corner. It was super clean and quaint. I felt a very warm welcome vibe immediately. I was asked to do a taste test of their ideas for an upcoming "New haven" sauce by the owner, who seems super kind & passionate.(the 3 sauces were soooo good. I went for B). I ordered the waffle platter, the waffle was very fluffy with a crisp outside and the taste was delicious. I did not like the eggs personally but they are super cheesy. I felt the platter was a bit small for the price but that's more so to do with inflation I'm sure. They offer a variety of teas, breakfast & lunch specials with menu items rotating to keep it fresh. Overall I would definitely come again to try out some lunch items as well as another conversation with the owner and employee. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
