Decent location for an espresso focused milk beverage. However, the cortado was more like a double traditional cap so a little more milk than I was wanting at the time. Still the drink was alright, albeit the milk a little too hot. The location is typical of many shops with a few seating options, but not overly spacious. Decent enough to be able to read a book or do some light work while there. Not a bad place, but nothing unique or exceptional about it to warrant additional visits when I’m in KC.

For a small local business they are very pricey. I understand that times are tough, but to pay $18.50 for a large and a sandwich is a bit much!

I came into this coffee shop with a few friends and while we were exploring the menu, we got lost in conversation. We were all very excited to try the menu items as they seemed very diverse. Whilst my friends and I were talking, a barista came over to our group and rudely informed us that we’ve been talking for 15 minutes and that we needed to order and stop chit chatting. We were so put off by her demeanor and her language that we left instead of staying and enjoying our coffee. Let’s reiterate that service is equally as important as the quality of the product. Very unfortunate.
