The skin color does play a lot in getting the service you deserve. Personal experience.
Bar,waitrons very lovely. Management is not so welcoming. Atmosphere good, but the idea you are being watched due to the color of your skin is a downer. We were a few that noticed this. This is my second review of this facility. So definitely, when a crowd is present of color, the service and atmosphere change. But a lovely place.

I recently visited Harrington, and I must say, it had a fantastic atmosphere and vibe. The music and crowd created a lively ambiance that made for a great night out. Plus, the drinks were reasonably priced, which is always a bonus. I'd definitely recommend checking it out for a fun evening!

I seldom complain about a venue but when it comes to specially visiting for happy hour as advertised only to discover when the bill arrives, that the hours above the bar have changed. Then when challenged the manager agreed to amend my bill, only to find that his HALF meant 40%. Not a maths genius…. Not cool guys. Hi our your adverts or take them down.

Visited on a Wednesday evening for their wine tasting special. Incredible value for money at only R220 for a three course meal with free wine tasting. The food was delicious, hot, well presented and good portions. The staff are friendly and attentive. Loud music is playing as this is a cocktail bar. The wine tasting brand changes once a month but you can enjoy the special every Wednesday. Parking outside is limited so try to arrive early around 6pm. The seating is comfortable and allows for tables for couples or large groups of people. The decor is old school Hollywood with a touch of 1900s London. I had a lovely evening and will be back!
Went for the Wednesday wine tasting, and it was beautiful! Brandon from Wightman & Sons and Chris from Viento were absolutely amazing! I didn't get the lady's name, but she sure makes the best Pinotage! Well done to these young wine makers!!! The pet nat and the cinsault were amazing!!!

The decor in this place is awesome. The layout is super interesting, and there are great places to adventure when you want a change of scenery. The music is also banging. They do, however, take themselves a little too seriously. There is a big arrogant sign above the door saying no slops, no shorts, and no something else. If their air-conditioning actually worked in the middle of summer, maybe they could expect people to wear long paints. But their sweltering sweatbox upstairs is not conducive to their protentious dress code.

This place was amazing. We were there for the Wednesday special. 3 course meal with wine tasting for R220. The food, the service,the experience was great. I loved the vibe of the place as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
We did pre-dinner drinks and love the place. It is open and spacious and has fantastic wooden decorations. The staff are very cool but easy going. The bar has big shelves and is well lighten. The bar cocktails were special and I am going back there soon.
Had a fun night. Some interesting tequila pairings. The mains were delicious (choice of divine Kingklip or tasty Rib-eye Steak) with scrumptious sides. If tequila is your thing, you'll definitely enjoy the Thursday Fiesta Feast. The host (Guy) is a very friendly gent & the staff are welcoming. The venue has an old-school classic "Bugsy Malone" charm. The DJ entertains with lively beats & cool mixes. Definitely a good spot for friends to meet after work for dinner & drinks. Would be a great choice for a "grown ups" party venue. Check the pics to see the Fiesta Pairing Menu Starter, Mains & Dessert. Ubering to the Fiesta Feast is recommended, as the tequila pairings pack quite a punch and are served with every meal tasting, plus 50% off tequila shooters. A boozy fiesta & fun night with friends.
