The food was just so so. We had to order bread for a starter, it wasn't free. Also no soup or salad option.. The glasses were very small for water and soda. We ordered lamb 2 ways which came w no side except some sort of gooey mess that had a flavor I couldn't place, and scallops which arrived cold and gooey. They resembled a jelly like texture which was disgusting and some sort of rice which was also cold. We had a great server tho which sort of made up for it. I can see how they want to be. Harlows is a hidden gem. Step back in time and imagine walking in to a Sinatra lounge. David at the bar is a amazing mixologist who makes any cocktail look like a work of art. Wow! This is a hidden gem. I am reluctantly providing a review because I want to keep this place under the radar. The atmosphere is laid back. The decor is very cool and provides a mix of art deco and art nouveau. The staff is amazing. Matt and Dave made some excellent cocktails. Hailey our waitress was awesome and made some excellent recommendations. The food was excellent and fresh. We started with their special, rabbit cigars. Think of it as an egg roll stuffed with rabbit. It came with two dipping sauces; a chimichuri and mango. So, so good. I took a picture after we ate half the entree. Our next dish was the southern fried quail with polenta. Absolutely delicious. We can't wait to go back and try more of their recommendations. Good atmosphere great service. Our server Jessica was amazing friendly and fun. We celebrated my mom's 88th birthday! Suggestion, realizeing it's not a kids menu, you should have burger and and and fries for kids that will come along at times. Also, would have loved a steak and baked or mashed potato. This was our first visit to this really unique place. It certainly will not be our last. The atmosphere and décor are something to be experienced. There is a very hip vibe but it is also very relaxing. Our drinks were fantastic and expertly mixed by Dave and Matt at the bar. The staff was so friendly, nice and helpful. The menu is certainly different in the selections of food. We had the Lobster stuffed Sole and Pork Medallions. Both dishes were excellent. Don't forget to try the Beets salad. It's large and very flavorful. Lexi was our waitress and was very helpful and gave excellent recommendations. We can't wait to come back on one of the nights when they have live music.
