This was my first experience tasting mead and I must say I am not disappointed. Happy Bee meadery gave us a first class experience from their variety of tasting options to providing us with a pleasant atmosphere. The shop is locally owned by a pleasant couple with stories to tell. They are really knowledgeable about their inventory and the history of the mead they sell and are able to give you recommendations that aren't even on the menu. I would feel bad for anyone who misses this hidden gem on their trip through cave creek and carefree. When you stop by ask to try their Black Currant mead and spicy ghost & Reaper pepper margaritas and while you sip don't forget to ask about the Tortoises. Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Awesome knowledge of the process. As a beekeeper and mead producer, this place rocks. Price per person $10–20 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Very kind staff. We went here a bit ago and can’t wait to come back tomorrow for the live music and wood fire pizza. The drinks were amazing and the atmosphere was very relaxing and fun. Would 1000% recommend this place!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The service and more importantly the Mead is phenomenal!! I actually brought one of their bottles along with me when I proposed to my Fiancé!! That bottle sits in our home with lights in it!! 5/5 must try!! -Tom Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This was our first time trying mead and it was great! The Happy Bee is very knowledgeable and we learned so much. I would recommend the flight to try all the unique flavors. They were very different, but all so good! Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
You need to try the thicker mead, specifically Black Agnes’ Black Currant Mead. Unreal, so good. The shop owner also is a cool guy. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
